My Testimony to the Power of Righteous Thoughts

I was fired from my job illegally because I practice Falun Dafa.

One day, a member of my family told me that my work unit had phoned and wanted to discuss my employment. When I went to work the following day, the head of personnel told me that the bureau chief wanted to talk to me, but he had gone out on errands. He asked me to wait for a while, saying that someone else wanted to see me. Not long after four policemen came. They said they wanted to go with me to my home to "have a look" and then talk with me. I said to them, "It's not necessary to go to my home. If you have something to say, just talk to me here." They did not agree and threatened, "If you do not cooperate, we'll force you to come with us and take you to jail."

Our Teacher said in his article "Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)" (Essentials for Further Advancement II),

"Dafa Disciples -- future Buddhas, Daos, and Gods -- how can you let those evil, ridiculous buffoons take advantage of any gaps?"

Afterwards, when I looked inside I found that I had attachments to fame and gain. Of course we should not allow the old forces to use this as an excuse to commit crimes against Dafa and Dafa practitioners.

I thought of what Teacher had said in his article "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful" (from Essentials for Further Advancement II),

"No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, or what it instigates."

I steeled my heart and would in no way cooperate with the evil, so none of the evil could touch me. I also asked Teacher to strengthen me and held the thought that there was no way the evil could take me away because I have to help Teacher to rectify the Fa (Law and Principles) and save sentient beings, and I still had not fulfilled the pre-historic vow and the sacred mission. At the same time, I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors behind the policemen. I felt that I was covered by a shield, and my body seemed frozen. I leaned on the sofa and would not move. I felt there was and unseen layer of protection more than an inch thick. All the particles inside were vibrating and the power was very strong. It was as if an extremely powerful energy filled me up, feeling very comfortable and wonderful.

Not long after, the most determined of the police left for other business. I continued to send forth righteous thought with undivided attention. Every character of the Fa rectification formula clearly appeared in front of my eyes. At that time, one policeman said, "It would be very good if the good reputation of Falun Dafa would soon be returned because I don't feel good when I see you suffer. The truth is, we do not want to do this." After a while, the policeman who had left came back. He said to me, "We are not going to your home to talk to you any more. We came here on business, not specifically to see you. It happened that we met you here and what we had said was just a joke. We will not say anything bad about you in the presence of our boss. If you want to say anything, just come to the public security bureau, but only after your health has recovered. If Falun Dafa is really good maybe we will practice ourselves. Now you can go." (Note: Because of persecution I had received in a forced labor camp, I appeared to be on the verge of death. That's why I was released on bail for medical treatment. They all were aware of my health condition.)

In this way, under our Teacher's compassion and blessing and my righteous thoughts, I shattered the evil persecution. It was just like what our Teach has said,

"Righteous thoughts display the might of Gods".
