Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Lili Is Arrested in Beijing

On January 16, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Lili went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was arrested. In the afternoon of January 17, the local police in Lili's hometown went to her home and tried to extort money from her mother, claiming they would use it as their travel expenses to bring Lili back home from Beijing. Her mother refused.

Li Lili has been jobless for a long time and is penniless due to repeated extortion from the police. She lives with her elderly mother after her divorce in 1999. Her mother, in her seventies, could not take the pressure from the residential committee and police substation and left home, and nobody knows her whereabouts. The whole family is quite concerned about her.

After learning that Lili went to Beijing to appeal, her older sister said with emotion, "Aren't people practicing Falun Gong trying to become better people? Aren't people simply seeking justice when they appeal in Beijing? I hope she will succeed and come back soon." The fact that Lili was persecuted for her appeal made her family further realize the irrationality of Jiang's regime in persecuting Dafa practitioners.

People are awakening gradually, and Li Lili's family appeals to all kindhearted people in the world to help support justice.
