Some Thoughts on Rescuing U.S. Fellow Practitioner Charles Li

Recently I read on Clearwisdom some exchanges of viewpoints on the issue of rescuing U.S. practitioner Charles Li from the perspective of the Fa, and it has evoked profound feelings inside me. I am a practitioner in Canada. Because I often clarify the truth to the Chinese people through the Internet, I didn't think much about the issue when Chinese authorities detained Charles Li without cause, as I thought there were practitioners in the U.S. working on rescuing him.

After reading fellow practitioners' exchanges, I calmed myself down to understand the issue based on the Fa principles. When we look at what is happening today from the overall perspective of the Fa-rectification, we will be able to examine the issues from a broader perspective. The establishment of the "World Organization to Investigate the Persecution on Falun Gong" and the commencement of legal action against Jiang overseas are initiatives taken by Dafa practitioners to more comprehensively clarify the truth to people in the world, to fundamentally deny the arrangement of the old forces, and to completely eliminate the evil.

We don't recognize the arrangement of the old forces, not even the old forces themselves. Any persecution of Dafa practitioners is in fact directed at Dafa. When we look at a problem from a higher level, we will understand more clearly the mission and duty of Dafa disciples. "I said: what is a Buddha? "Tathagata" is what human beings call someone who's come with the truth and the power to do what he wants, whereas real Buddhas are guardians of the cosmos and are responsible for all righteous elements in the cosmos." Then why am I so indifferent to the issue? All of a sudden it becomes clear to me that it is related to whether the dimensions I am responsible for have been completely cleansed. Although we often say that we don't recognize the old forces' arrangement, we sometimes pay no attention to cleansing the dimensions we are responsible for, focusing only on clarifying the truth. We focus on the external but neglect the degenerated matters in the dimensions we shoulder, and if these are not eliminated, they will interfere with our Xinxing elevation and ability to consider a situation from the overall perspective of the Fa-rectification.

Teacher said in Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, USA: "Let me tell you, all those who remain and that can persecute Dafa and Dafa disciples are due to our students themselves. Students who haven't taken sending forth righteous thoughts seriously: the evil in the dimensions that you are supposed to shoulder and be responsible for has not been eliminated. That's the cause."

As we improve our understanding in the Fa's principles, powerful righteous thoughts will naturally emerge from within our hearts. Since we don't recognize the old forces' arrangements, any persecution against any Dafa practitioner, regardless of where it may arise, is directed at Dafa. We must completely eliminate the evil -- the practitioners must be released unconditionally, the persecution stopped, and the suppression must end! At this moment as I send forth righteous thoughts, I feel an exceptionally pure righteousness arising from deep within my heart; my body feels as if it has merged with the cosmos, and I am well aware that my divine side is eliminating the evil and rectifying the degenerated. Many of the microcosmic beings deep within are reviving, awakening and being assimilated to Dafa.

Teacher said in the article "Righteous Thoughts": "To reduce the losses, and to save sentient beings, put your Dafa disciples' powerful righteous thoughts to full use! Show your Mighty Virtue!"
