Germany: Urgent Appeal for Rescue of Lin Wenrong, Who is Illegally Detained in China

Ms. Lin Wenrong is a 35-year-old Falun Gong practitioner. She is originally from Wuhan in China, and graduated from Wuhan College of Music. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1997, and upheld her steadfast belief and continued to practice despite the brutal persecution of practitioners that was initiated by Jiang Zemin in July 1999.

Lin Wenrong now lives in Germany. On 17 January 2003, she went to Wuhan to visit her family. She had originally arranged to come back to Germany in February, but she has not yet returned. According to inside information, Lin Wenrong has been detained and jailed by local police. Her place of detention is still unknown.

German practitioners are urging everyone to take immediate action to rescue Lin Wenrong so that she can be freed as soon as possible.
