An Israeli Practitioner Clarifies the Truth about Falun Dafa During a Visit to the Ukraine

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, when I went to the Ukraine for a private matter, I took advantage of my stay to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa. I gave a Falun Dafa workshop at a gifted children's boarding school in Zporoziya. In the workshop I handed out papers and flyers on the practice, and showed the students pictures from the Compassion magazine and picture albums of activities in Israel. Before the workshop I was told that one had to be serious and strict with the children, but when I started to talk about Dafa there was silence. They listened attentively to the explanations on the persecution.

On the long bus journey to Kiev I was a bit sad, for during my stay I hadn't met any Chinese people. I hoped that in the airport in Kiev I would meet some and be able to give them material in Chinese. After two hours in the city of D'ney-prop-trovek, somebody who looked Chinese sat in front of me. I told him, "Ni Hao" (a Chinese greeting) and he answered me, so I gave him a Chinese flyer with information about Dafa. He asked: "Where did you get this?" and I answered, "From Israel." I answered in Chinese, "I am Israeli" He shook his head in understanding.

He read the flyer and said that he had read about the atrocities in the newspaper but he didn't believe that such a thing is happening in China. He said that he had lived in the Ukraine for a few years and heard that Falun Dafa is good, but he did not believe in this persecution. He knows that Jiang Zemin is bad, but now there is someone else in his place.

I took out the photos. I explained to him that the persecution today is even worse although the leader has changed. I showed him the Compassion magazine in English. He read about half of it and set it down. I observed him all the time to see how he received the truth. I let him hear the Falun Dafa music "Pudu" and "Jishi" and he concentrated on the music with his eyes closed. I saw that he was deeply moved. He returned the tape and kept on looking at the photos. I took an "S.O.S stop the persecution" English pin from my bag and said it was for him. He asked in pain: "Why do they do that?" And started to cry. At that moment he put the pin on his yellow shirt and said he had worked for four years for the Chinese police and that in 1992 he left. He kept on looking at the photos and said that he has Chinese friends in the city of D'ney-prop-trovek. I gave him material in Chinese.

Before I left the bus at the airport I told him: "Tell all the Chinese people you know the truth of Falun Dafa." I was glad he absorbed the information about Falun Dafa into his heart.

At the airport, as I was reading the book Zhuan Falun someone approached me and asked: "What is this? Falun Dafa?" I said yes and showed him that "Falun Dafa" is embroidered on my coat. He called his wife and told her with much excitement: "Look, look, Falun Dafa!" He said that three years ago he studied Falun Dafa in London but didn't continue. I showed him the magazine and the photos, and he asked: "What should I do now?" I told him: "It's never too late to start over. Teacher Li tells us to regularly read the book Zhuan Falun, to read it time and time again, and that one should also practice the exercises." I told him about the persecution, and that we should tell people about the true situation in China and around the world. He said: "Yes yes, when I get back I will resume practicing Faun Dafa." I firmly shook his hand.
