Slacking Off in Our Cultivation Is Complying with the Old Forces

Lately, matters around here have been relatively smooth: the weather has been pretty cold, and my heart and body seem to be in states of hibernation. In the morning, I can't wake up to practice, and at night, I crawl under my warm covers and fall asleep soon after I start to read the Fa. I don't even care about not being on time to send forth righteous thoughts at the scheduled times. When the alarm goes off, I would reach out my hand to turn it off and then recite the verses under my covers. I would completely disregard whether there were any results or not.

This morning, when I attempted to reach out and turn off the alarm clock, my arm very naturally recoiled, and I thought, "I should warm myself a little and then get up." While my thoughts were conflicting, the flat floor in front of me started slowly caving in, right in front of my eyes. A hole appeared in the middle, and a creature that looked both like a dragon and a snake peeked out of the hole then drew back. The ground around the hole started to melt towards the outside and enormous amounts of bees and beehives were revealed. Every nest had countless newborn bees being bred. A very big evil creature stood by the side of the beehives, and numerous newborn bees would suddenly jump on it. After gaining its energy, they flew away and attached themselves to the dimension of human bodies to do various bad things of damaging Dafa, and persecuting practitioners and kind-hearted people. While I saw the ground melting, I realized it was an evil's nest. I sent forth righteous thoughts right away. When the tall large creature appeared, I became taller and larger, and had mighty powers without end. Saying the word "eliminate" when reciting the verses, the floor quickly renewed and became flat again.

Why are there so many newborn bees? As Fa-rectification has not arrived yet, the evil old forces can follow old cosmic laws, and can reproduce and develop to a certain degree. Dafa practitioners' relaxing themselves gives the evil a chance to catch its breath, which is complying with the old forces and is accepting the old forces' arrangements.

In the course of Fa-rectification up to today, Dafa practitioners have become mature, but we have not all finished our path of cultivation, and we still, more or less, have ordinary human thoughts. The evil forces will not easily give up persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Walking a righteous path and mutual encouragement is especially important.
