The Power of Benevolence is Enormous -- The Transformation of a Person in an Internet Chat Room

I came across a person when I chatted online. He was good-natured but deeply deceived by the propaganda and had many misunderstandings toward Dafa. He was not willing to accept and read the truth material I dispatched to him. The Dafa VCDs I sent him had been seized by the government. He also torn up the Dafa materials his local practitioners gave him. He told me that he only believed what he could see with his own eyes and what he knew, and insisted that what he thought was right.

During our chats, no matter how he treated me, I always kept a compassionate heart and shared with him many details of my life. One time, we chatted about Dafa until dawn (previously he was not willing to discuss the subject).

One day he told me that he saw a practitioner posting Dafa materials. In his area one can get monetary reward if one reports such goings on to the authority. Although he was out of work at the time and very much in need of money, he did not report the practitioner because he said he thought of me, and that I was so kind and that practitioner could be like me, so he did not have the heart to do it. I told him that Dafa practitioners from all over the world were all honest and kind people like me.

During our chats, he apologized to me a number of times. Although he had yet to accept Dafa, he was touched by my kindness. He said that he never would have expected that during the lengthy period he had chatted online, the person who could become his true friend would be a Falun Gong practitioner.

I then decided to think of other ways to send him Dafa VCDs, and eventually he was able to receive them.

One day he told me that there had been a slight change in his thinking after viewing the VCDs, and he willingly wanted to know more about Dafa. I then forwarded some truth material about the persecution from the Clearwisdom website. He read it carefully. He had refused to read them in the past. After he finished reading them, he told me that if he were me, he would also step forward and call for people's just conscience!

I have been chatting with him online for more than four months. I feel that my efforts are worthwhile when I see people like him become awakened. During the process of clarifying the truth, I also see my own attachments. I need to get rid of them to reach a purer state.

Many incidents have enabled me to feel the enormous power of benevolence. It is my responsibility to clarify the truth in greater details and in a deeper level to wake up the precious Chinese people who have been deceived by the lies.
