Western Practitioner: Stepping Forward to Clarify the Truth to Chinese People Around Me

(Clearwisdom.net) I am an undergraduate pharmacy student. Because my coursework demands a lot of my time, requiring 30 hours of attendance per week, I find that I am left with little time for Hongfa activities.

Master said, "The Great Fa is boundless" and "Dafa is all-encompassing." From this, I know that I should try to make use of my present environment to clarify the truth to the precious Chinese people. In the places that we least expect, there are many predestined Chinese people waiting to hear the truth. It is a matter of whether we can recognize this as Dafa disciples, let go of our human notions and safeguard the Fa.

I take the train to university every morning. There are many Chinese people on the train, and when I am in a righteous state of mind, I know it is our benevolent Master who arranges for them to sit opposite or near me. Looking through non-practitioners' eyes, we could just say it's coincidence. But when we truly treat ourselves as Dafa particles, we know it is far beyond what our human eyes see. Sometimes I calmly hand them a flyer, I
know they are very grateful in their heart. Sometimes I calmly take out a Chinese Hongfa newspaper and read, and all the while they are reading along with me. Afterwards I give them the newspaper. I know that many are grateful for this.

When my righteous thoughts are strong enough, I have taken the chance to personally clarify the truth to them. I try to choose a seat where Chinese people are. Yesterday, I was sitting opposite a family from China. There was an elderly grandma and grandpa, a mother and her young son that looked about six years old.

At first, because my righteous thoughts were not strong enough, I had some attachments. It was as if I was searching for clues to tell me whether they would accept the flyer, whether they had heard the truth before, or whether they are interested to hear me. As soon as these thoughts arose, all of a sudden the family became very sleepy and started to doze off. The mother looked very preoccupied, fixing something for her son.

I knew it was the evil old forces trying to prevent them from staying awake, not wanting them to hear the truth. On the other hand, it was because of my selfish attachment, that the old forces were able to manipulate these people. Actually, it is always because we have gaps that the old forces try to take advantage of Dafa disciples. If we have no loopholes, would there be any space for the evil beings to exist?

My station was arriving. If I didn't say something soon, perhaps they will lose their only chance. Perhaps they have been waiting all their lives to cross paths with me, a Dafa particle. Just to hear and accept one word of truth, perhaps they can be saved. I couldn't bear to let them go like this. With this righteous thought, I started to talk to the elderly lady sitting opposite me. My Chinese is very limited, but I gave her a flyer and calmly said a few words in Chinese. "Please have a look, I would like Chinese people to understand the truth. My dad used to have liver disease, he practiced for five years, and he is better now." The lady smiled and seemed to understand. With that, I got off the train. I could see her telling her family what I told her. I thought, at least it's something. Perhaps many sentient beings that I cannot see have been saved.

The above is just my one small experience of my Hongfa and validating Dafa, using my existing environment. Through these, I have found many hidden attachments, I know Master has exposed them to save more sentient beings. From another perspective, I feel it is very wrong for us as Dafa disciples to go along with our attachments, especially in
something as precious as clarifying the truth. Because that is when old forces are likely to take advantage of our gaps. I will work hard to chip away at my human notions, so as to prevent further losses to Dafa. I will study Fa well, send righteous thoughts, and try to be a worthy particle of Dafa.
