A practitioner who had left his home to avoid persecution ran into a policeman from the local detention center. The policeman said, "Aha, you are here. Stand there and don't move." The practitioner answered back righteously and sternly, "You stand there, stand still!" After the practitioner disappeared into the crowd and walked for quite a distance, he could still see the policeman standing still in the same spot.

One elderly practitioner is illiterate, but she can read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong. The police have gone to her home many times to force her to write a "Guarantee Letter" [A statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.]. Once, after the police left, she started to practice writing her own name. When the police came again, she wrote on the guarantee letter "(her name) practices cultivation!" When the police defamed Falun Gong, she practiced the exercises in their presence. The police eventually gave up the harassment. These days she has her son carry her around town on his bike to distribute Falun Gong truth-clarifying flyers.

A practitioner arrived at the waiting hall of a train station with a big bag of Falun Gong material, and he noticed dozens of policemen searching passengers' baggage. The practitioner said to himself, "They are not qualified to test me. They will not dare to search the materials that are for saving people." Then the practitioner walked with his head high through the ticket checkpoint without being stopped.

A female practitioner was posting Falun Gong truth-clarifying flyers door to door in an apartment building when she ran into a policeman who came out of one of the apartments. He dragged her inside and was going to send her to the local police station. With righteous thoughts, the practitioner said to herself, "I must save him." She then explained to the policeman the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. In the end, the policeman said, "All right. Please get on your way. I won't take you to the police station."

A practitioner went to a former practitioner's home many times to try to bring her back to the practice. When her husband returned, he beat up the practitioner. The wife pleaded with the practitioner to leave, but the practitioner said, "I came for you. I cannot just leave like that." The former practitioner was deeply touched and she said with tears in her eyes, "I will continue the practice, for sure."

A practitioner was making copies of the truth-clarifying materials when the ink cartridge ran out. He still had over a thousand copies to make. Immediately he sat down, crossed his legs, and sent forth righteous thoughts. Then he continued to feed paper into the photocopier, and with no ink left in the cartridge the copier continued to make over a thousand flyers.
