Story 1: Before the Chinese New Year, practitioner "A" got into a dispute with her husband over a small family matter. Afterwards, her husband did not talk to her. The practitioner thought to herself: I am a practitioner, I cannot do things this way. Regardless of whether I am right or wrong, it should all be counted as my problem. The practitioner therefore apologized to her husband, yet it didn't matter how she explained things, her husband refused to pay any attention and continued not talking to her and always having a long face, like a sky full of dark clouds.

Unable to reconcile with her husband, the practitioner started to have thoughts of divorce. She knew that something had gone wrong, and also wanted to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate such interference and destruction, but due to a lack of understanding of the Fa, she was not sure what was the right thing to do. Later, she had a chance to share her problem with other practitioners, and gained a clearer understanding of the principle of Fa through sharing with others. So, when she went home, she started to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all evil elements that existed in other dimensions that were interfering with her husband. Once her righteous thoughts emerged, the evil was extinguished. Her husband's demeanor turned from dark to sunny, and his face was full of smiles. Some friends called her husband wanting to come to his home to play Mahjong, but he rejected the suggestion without a second thought, saying, "Sorry, not tonight. My wife needs to study the Fa and practice the exercises."

Story 2: A practitioner initially planned for his son to drive other practitioners to a distant place to distribute truth clarifying materials. The night before their trip, his son had a bad dream that the police wanted to arrest him; therefore he pulled back and did not want to go anymore. The practitioner said: "This is not acceptable. We have planned this already and others are ready to go--how can you change your mind now? That is interference and destruction, it is false imagination." While the practitioner told his son not to worry, he sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil elements in other dimensions that were trying to obstruct this truth-clarifying activity. In the end, the activity went on as planned and was a great success.

The evil forces use our human hearts and the forms of everyday people to wear down our will without our noticing it. They are trying to waste the time which we could use to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. This is something we must be aware of at any time, any place. We need to consider every incident with righteous thoughts and righteous actions.
