This is a story that happened in Changchun City, Jilin Province, in northeastern China.
At around 8:30 p.m. on January 24, 2003, a few lawless officials from the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems), the Luyuan Division Bureau of the "610 Office," and the Yangjiawaizi Police Station, suddenly rushed into Dafa practitioner Wang Qingming's (pseudonym) home and ransacked the entire place. Without any reason, they forced her to accompany them.
At the Luyuan Division Bureau, the police tried to force Wang Qingming to tell them the names of other Dafa practitioners. They also questioned her closely about when she had last contacted other practitioners. Wang did not cooperate with the evil policemen and refused to answer. The police could not help but use despicable means to torture her. First they blew smoke in her nose, and then they covered her entire head with plastic bags to suffocate her.
When the policemen saw that Wang Qingming still did not cooperate, they used a rope to hang her up. Wang Qingming sent forth righteous thoughts, and at the same time asked Teacher for support. The evil tortured her by hanging her up three times. The last time, however, because of Wang's mighty righteous thoughts, the rope loosened like a rubber band, and with her feet touching the ground, the pain was lessened. When the police found out that her feet were on the ground, they tied her up again and then hung her even higher. Wang Qingming shouted out loudly, "Teacher save me." Once she finished her words, the rope completely loosened and she fell to the floor.
When the policemen saw that their tools of torture did not work on her, they attempted to send her to the Daguang Detention Center. At this point, Wang's righteous thoughts came through, "I don't want the lawless police to detain me." When the police at the detention center glanced at the wounds on her tortured hands, they refused to take her in. Thus, the policemen from the Luyuan Division Bureau could only call the police station to have her taken away. The phone rang forever and still, no one answered. Wang Qingming said, "I don't need them to pick me up, I can go by myself." The police then meekly took ten Yuan from their pockets and gave it to her to take a cab home.
Through her experience, Wang Qingming validated Teacher's magnificence and mercy, and, in turn, validated the Fa's greatness. Teacher said in "Also in a Few Words" (Essentials for Further Advancement II):
"Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos's Truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies, it frightens all evil, and the light of Truth it emanates makes the unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate. However strong the righteous thoughts are, that's how great the power is."
This is absolutely true. Fellow practitioners, quickly let go of all attachments, utilize our mighty righteous thoughts, and the "Divine Powers of the Buddha Fa" that Teacher has given us to break free of the devil's den, validate the Fa, and save all sentient beings.
