Dafa Practitioner's Husband: I Want To Say Something Fair for Falun Dafa

I am a laid-off worker from Shandong Province. My wife is from a farming village. We have a son and a daughter. My wife obtained Dafa in 1996. She had heart disease before obtaining Dafa and was unable to work. She visited many hospitals and spent quite a bit of money but could not be cured. It was Teacher Li's Falun Dafa that saved her. She had noticeable health improvements after practicing Dafa for a week and she had no symptoms at all after three weeks. Now she is able to do any type of work and I can also go out and work. Dafa saved not just her but also our whole family.

On June 9^th, 2002, the County Political Safety Department officials and local police ransacked my home and took all the books and materials on "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance" that can offer salvation to the world's people. They took my wife to the local police station by force. They threatened our children, saying that they would not release their mother unless the family paid them 8,000 to 10,000 Yuan (the average monthly income in China is 500 Yuan). Since there was no money in the house, the children could only cry as they watched their mother being dragged away. After two hours, the police took my wife to the County Detention Center and locked her up illegally. The next day I went to the County Political Safety Department to reason with them. I said, "She did nothing wrong by practicing Falun Gong; her disease was cured and she wanted to be a good person. If you don't allow that, you are violating her basic rights!" The people from Political Safety Department said, "This is ordered by the top; we dare not refuse. In China, you need to obey the Chinese government." During this period, the local police often harassed and threatened me: "If you don't give us the money, we will send her to Masanjia (a labor camp in Liaoning Province notorious for its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners) for labor "education." We are about to send her now, it will be too late if you don't give the money now." I gave in under their threats and lies and gave them three thousand Yuan and 220 Yuan for the cost of food. They didn't even give me a receipt. I really regret that now; I should not have helped to boost the evil's arrogance.

I want to say something fair for Dafa: Falun Dafa is Good! Jiang's gang uses vicious means to defame Dafa and persecutes so many innocent people. It is time for us to bravely speak out to clarify the truth.
