My Understanding of "Negating the Arrangements of the Old Forces" Continuing the Discussion on How Much We Are Following Old Forces' Arrangements By a practitioner in China 3/2/2003 (Clearwisdom.net) Having read Master Li's "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa
Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.," I have a
better understanding of the arrangements of the old forces. "It appears that they're using those evil beings to do evil to Dafa
disciples and Dafa in order to have Dafa disciples be supposedly 'matured
through tempering' and to weed out those who don't deserve to be Dafa
disciples, and along with this to use the sins that the evil beings have
committed against Dafa disciples to destroy them and purify the cosmos.
That's what the old forces have arranged. Sounds so noble, doesn't it? But
it's not! Their real goal is to get what they want out of this." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.") Having thought over the arrangements of the old forces, I suddenly realized
that since the start of the persecution, many practitioners in China, including
those who are imprisoned and remain steadfast, are still following the
arrangements of the old forces. I am a practitioner in China and have witnessed many practitioners around me
being imprisoned. Some of them have been reformed; some made some mistakes, and
some are still very steadfast. It was my thinking before that only those who
made mistakes fell under the arrangements of the old forces. Now I realize that
even those who remain firm fall under the arrangements of the old forces,
including those who are still imprisoned and those who have come out as a result
of righteous actions such as hunger strikes. They have all been persecuted and
the whole process is, to use the old forces' words, "to have Dafa disciples be
supposedly matured through tempering." Those that were reformed belong are part of the old force plan "to weed out
those who don't deserve to be Dafa disciples." Many of those that are firm
belong to those that have been matured through tempering, and many more are
still being "tempered." When I looked back at when the persecution started, many
practitioners felt that they would not be able to consummate or establish their
mighty virtue without going to the prisons to be "tempered". This type of
thinking fit exactly the arrangements of the old forces. To negate their
arrangements means that we cannot accept the "tempering" they arranged. Even
though a practitioner remained very firm and resisted all persecution, and was
released because the old forces thought he/she had matured, it was still
following the path arranged by the old forces. Imagine how much time and energy,
and resources that have been wasted. Didn't that impact on the Fa-rectification
negatively? The key to the arrangements of the old forces is persecution. All the
tempering, weeding out and the destroying started with the persecution. If we
negate the persecution, we essentially negate their arrangements. How can we do
that? There have been many articles on Minghui (and Clearwisdom, in English)
concerning this. The following are my personal understandings. The above is my personal, limited understanding. Fellow practitioners, kindly
point out anything inappropriate. Posting date: 3/15/2003 |
