A Western Dafa Practitioner's Experience Clarifying the Truth to Chinese Tourists

By a westerner who has deep concern for his dear fellow practitioners suffering tremendously in China right now

For some time now I've been clarifying the truth to Chinese tourists. My motivation to do even more of it increased after seeing the following Clearwisdom article: "Photo Report: Dafa Practitioners from Hubei Province Clarify the Truth in China," http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2003/3/6/32948.html. In China, one can see posters and words posted on walls and light standards, such as, "Falun Dafa is the Righteous Way", "Falun Dafa is Good", "To be a good person is not a crime", etcetera. I have realised that we as westerners are able to approach 100 times as many Chinese people in one hour than our persecuted fellow practitioners in China, who put themselves in great danger by doing this kind of validating the Fa. Here, every time we do the exercises in front of a big line of tourist buses with a banner reading "Zhen-Shan-Ren" hanging on a tree beside us, the Chinese tourists are deeply moved every time. They have all kind of reactions, and some even show their support with a thumbs-up. Some surround our group to watch. A lot of them take pictures of us secretly. High ranking "officials" who have persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners are shocked and frightened. No police are rushing up to us. People passing by have no trouble with us being there.

I would like to share one touching story with you. Early one evening, from one of the last buses, a Chinese lady came to our exercise group and circled around us several times. Two of us went up to clarify the truth to her. The two practitioners told us later after the conversation, that she was from Hebei province and was a Dafa disciple, too! She told us that it felt so good to see us here! The situation at her home is so tough right now and many of the Chinese practitioners there have been arrested and persecuted at least once. They are in need of our overseas support so much! Long tears rolled down her face silently. We were all very moved, and it took great courage for her to come to us while being seen by the other Chinese tourists waiting at the bus for her.

We use several ways of clarifying the truth to Chinese tourists. The first is to study the Fa beforehand. Our actions become much more determined and go much more smoothly. Second, sending fourth righteous thoughts every time shortly before an activity. The result is different when we don't send forth righteous thoughts beforehand. Further, in a situation where they are moving in a closed group and have less courage to come in contact with us or take flyers, it is very efficient to tell them calmly only one very strong and short sentence clarifying the truth. This is enough to make them starting thinking on their own.

Example: "Falun Dafa has been persecuted for nearly four years. Where are all the bombs, guns and killed policemen, which are needed to get political power? Your streets at home are in peace, because Falun Dafa teaches us only to become good people, living Zhen-Shan-Ren!" That's all.

Most of them have very moved faces and start to think. Some even stop walking and are willing to listen to our detailed arguments. Never pressure them, as the resistance in their minds can become too strong.

As Dafa disciples tell people the facts,

It's like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths,

Shredding apart the rotten demons' lies.

Lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them.
