Changchun City called us about the police searching his place and asked us to
send forth righteous thoughts with him. The police soon left after we sent forth
powerful righteous thoughts. During the search, the police checked his computer
and didn't find anything. The next morning we found out that the search was
conducted throughout the neighborhood the night before. As long as practitioners
behave nobly, with righteous thoughts and as a whole body, the evil will never
achieve their goal of persecution. [Jilin Province] Intensified Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners During
The Fifth Session of the Ninth NPC Recently, the authorities of Jilin Province intensified the persecution of
Falun Dafa practitioners. Some practitioners who were working in the provincial
office building were arrested and sent to the brainwashing center where they
were forced to write the so-called "Guarantee Statement" to give up cultivation
practice. Some practitioners had to leave their work units to avoid being
illegally detained and persecuted. Some practitioners in Changchun City were
arrested while at home. These practitioners' whereabouts are unknown yet. The
transportation center at Huanghe Road in Changchun City began examining the
vehicles traveling on the road more closely. In Nong'an County, every work unit
is forced to contribute a vehicle in an attempt to arrest Falun Dafa
practitioners. Also, people are hired for 30 Yuan a day to watch the electricity
poles in an attempt to capture Falun Dafa practitioners when they put up the
truth-clarifying materials. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhao Jihong Is
Illegally Abducted And Detained Around 11:00 pm on February 26, 2003, a gang of policemen from the National
Security Bureau, led by the Vice Director of the Nanyang Road Police Substation,
broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Jihong's home. They made an illegal
search of her home and abducted her. Currently, she is being detained in the
Heizhuang Detention Center in Jinshui District. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Liu Qingzhu Is
Missing After 11:00 pm on February 26, 2003, policemen from the National Security
Bureau broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Qingzhu's home. They made an
illegal search of his home, and Liu Qingzhu has been missing since. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Jiang Xiurong Has
Been Missing Over Two years In December 2000, Zhengzhou female practitioner Jiang Xiurong, around 60
years old, went with a 50-year-old practitioner, Mrs. Dang, to Beijing to appeal
for Falun Dafa. Their whereabouts are unknown. Jiang Xiurong's home phone number
is: 86-371-7635265. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Xiuhua Is
Illegally Sentenced to Two Years in Forced Labor Camp Soon after Zhengzhou practitioner Zhang Xiuhua was released from the
Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp, she was reported for distributing truth-clarifying
materials. She was then detained in the Guancheng District Detention Center and
illegally sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Recently, A Large Number of Falun Dafa
Practitioners Have Been Illegally Arrested [Shanghai City] Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Being Illegally Put On the
Wanted List Some Shanghai practitioners have been illegally put on the wanted list for
distributing truth-clarifying VCDs. We appeal to all Shanghai practitioners to
eliminate the persecution with righteous thoughts and righteous actions. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners From The Land
Reclamation And Cultivation Bureau Are Persecuted Ye Juanli, female, is a Chinese teacher in the No.3 Jianqiao High School,
Harbin City. Her colleague reported her for clarifying the truth about Falun
Dafa to her students in the class. She was dismissed from her job. Later, people
from the school's security department went with the police from the Xiangfang
Public Security Branch to her home. They tricked her into opening the door by
asking her to return to her teaching position. After an illegal search was made
at her place, she was abducted and sent to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp for one
year. Her husband was deceived by lies and was forced to divorce her. A year
later, she nobly left the labor camp. Her former work unit picked her up but
didn't allow her to teach since she had refused to write the so-called
"Statement of Guarantee". The police and school authorities go to her home every
day to harass her. She no longer lives a normal life and has become destitute
and homeless. Zhou Guanghui, female, 52-year-old, is a retired cadre and a senior engineer
in the Land Reclamation And Cultivation Bureau. She was implicated with a fellow
practitioner whose cellular phone was monitored. In September 2002, police from
Harbin Public Security Bureau arrested her while she was at home. Without any
legal procedure, she was sent to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp for three years. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Persecuted Hengyang practitioner, Dai Kuisong, was illegally detained for a month for
going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 2000. He was abducted and sent to a
brainwashing class in 2001. After that, his home was searched in October and he
was detained again because he remained steadfast in cultivation practice. During
the 16th Party Congress in 2002, he was once again abducted while at
home. His whereabouts remain unknown. Hengyang practitioner, Dai Guohe, was illegally detained for over 40 days for
going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 2000. Soon after he was released,
the police stopped him when he rode his bicycle near the Goulou Police
Substation. They forcibly conducted a body search and found two pieces of
truth-clarifying materials. He was illegally detained for over two months for
that. Around 11:00 pm on December 24, 2000, the police came to his home and
arrested him. He was illegally detained until August 2, 2001. On September 20,
2001, he was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp for explaining the
truth of Falun Dafa to others. Because he went on a hunger strike to protest the
persecution, his term was extended 4 months with no reason and he was locked up
in solitary confinement for 36 days. They didn't release him until January 20th,
2003. Currently, he is destitute and homeless to avoid being detained again. Hengyang practitioner Zhu Pingzhi was arrested while distributing
truth-clarifying materials on February 27, 2003. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] My Daughter's Renal Illnesses went Away in
Ten Days After Practicing Falun Gong I am a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. One day
in mid-March, 2003, my daughter suddenly ran a high fever and her body became
swollen. She was eventually diagnosed with a combination of renal illnesses. She
is only 9 years old. My family members and relatives were very worried about
her. At the time, my daughter said to me, "Mom, I want to practice Falun Dafa
with you." Therefore, I started to study the Fa with her during the day and
practice the Falun Gong exercise with her in the evening. On the eleventh day,
according to a lab report, her health was fine. It's been nearly a year now, and
she has not felt uncomfortable ever since. It is Falun Dafa that has given my
daughter a new life.
