Appeal to the German Government to Help Rescue Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Lin Wenrong and Return Her to Germany

Recently, persons from Shiyan City Police Department, Shiyan City "610 Office," and the Xiajiadian Forced Labor Camp in Shiyan City, Hubei claimed that Ms. Lin Wenrong had been released and returned back home. But after Falun Gong practitioner's further investigations it was found that Lin Wenrong simply did not have any freedom to contact the outside world. Before this, these same Chinese authorities had already misled the public, stating Lin Wenrong was not detained, but instead being "re-educated in a study class."

The story they told this time was another string of lies and excuses to mislead the public. Falun Gong practitioners in Germany have already explained the truth and facts to organizations that can help with the rescue of Lin Wenrong, including many institutions of the German government, human right organizations and the media. Falun Gong practitioners have also reminded these German organizations that they should not easily accept the lies Chinese officials are offering, and that Lin Wenrong won't truly have freedom until she returns to German. Lin Wenrong was planning to return to German on February 17^th to continue her studies.

We once again urgently call on the German government and people from all walks of life to please take action to request immediate and unconditional release of Lin Wenrong, and to help her to realize her wish to immediately return to Germany to study. At the same time, we appeal to the German government, at the upcoming United Nations Human Rights Conference to condemn China's brutal persecution against Falun Gong and request the Chinese government to immediately stop the persecution against Falun Gong and release all detained Falun Gong practitioners.
