By a European Dafa practitioner

[Clearwisdom.net] During the Lunar New Year's festival, I attended two evening party get togethers for overseas students studying abroad. At the first party, Western Dafa practitioners distributed truth-clarifying VCD's outside in the chilly weather and Chinese Dafa practitioners clarified the truth to the students and their relatives. The atmosphere was very harmonious.

After two weeks, we attended another get-together party. While a movie was being shown, we distributed the truth-clarifying VCD's outside. Chinese student A said: "I have seen the truth-clarifying VCD and many others at home. I agree with the three words: Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." Another student asked when he accepted the VCD I gave him, "Is this a movie?" I said: "No." Student A replied in a firm and strong tone, "It's about a hero, another kind of hero." I was deeply moved.

While we were distributing the truth-clarifying VCD's, a well-known PhD engineer talked to us. He recalled that he felt nervous and afraid when he received our leaflets and newspapers one year ago. However, he knew the truth now. He said that the cultures of other countries could not easily be compared with the Chinese culture. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is the essence of Chinese culture. Today western people cherish it by holding it with both hands. However, the Chinese government oppresses it, and oppresses its own culture.
