Those Who Persecute Dafa Receive Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

A farmer in Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province used all means to prevent his wife from practicing Dafa. His wife often advised him not to listen to the fabricated propaganda that slandered Dafa or else he would incur retribution. However, he still cursed Dafa and said, "I always curse Dafa but have never received retribution. I just don't believe that any retribution will happen to me."

Then, on the night of February 17, 2003, he slandered Falun Dafa at home. As he threw Teacher's picture to the ground, he suddenly fell and passed out. White foam came from his mouth and his limbs seized with cramps. He did not regain consciousness until quite some time later. When he did, however, he could not talk clearly, and half of his body was paralyzed. This story soon spread to the entire village and shocked the evil people who had persecuted Dafa practitioners.

The police unit of the Yaohua Factory in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province has assisted the Qinghuangdao City Police Department to arrest Dafa practitioners in the factory. The director of the police unit, Hu Dianlong (male), 56, was diagnosed with rectum cancer and recently underwent surgery. Another officer, Zhou Lei (male), 47, died of liver cancer in 2002.

Guo Jun (male), 50, is the police chief in Xiaheshou Village, Qidaoquanzi Town in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. Guo participated in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners after July 1999. Especially since 2002, he has actively conspired with the police station to persecute, monitor, and arrest Falun Dafa practitioners. Prior to the 2003 Chinese Spring Festival, many of his chickens suddenly died, causing him a great deal of economic loss.

Li Jinzhu, the director of the Qinghan Town Police Station in Gucheng County, Hebei Province, illegally arrested and fined 17 Dafa practitioners since the persecution of Falun Dafa began on July 1999. On January 22, 2003, Li Jinzhu was arrested and prosecuted for corruption and bribery.
