'Proclamation Recognizing the Western U.S. Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference by City of Pomona, California [March 3, 2003]
(Clearwisdom.net) City of Pomona State of California A proclamation of the Council of the City of Pomona County of
Los Angeles, State of California, recognize the western U.S. Falun Dafa
Experience Sharing Conference. Whereas, Falun Dafa was introduced in 1992 by founder Li
Hongzhi and is currently practiced in 40 countries by 100 million practitioners;
and Whereas, Falun Dafa is a form of cultivation aimed to improve
the mind and physical health; and Whereas, the higher goal of Falun Dafa is to bring people
towards wisdom and enlightenment based on the principle of
"Truth-Compassion-Tolerance"; and Whereas, since 1995, when Falun Dafa was introduced in this
state, many Californians have shared and embraced the related exercises and
teachings, and numerous workshops and classes are now offered at various
community locations throughout California. Now, Therefore, We, The Pomona City Council, do hereby
recognize the annual Western United States "Falun Dafa Experience Sharing
