Waist In 2002, Sun Faquan was the deputy chief of Yang'a Township police station,
Yuanyang County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province. During that time he persecuted
Dafa disciples. Sun has now received karmic retribution, in that both of his
legs are paralyzed. It is said that even spending 100,000 Yuan [more than
US$12,000; 500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker] would
not be enough to cure him. The Principal of Beipiao City First High School, Liaoning Province, Dies of
Sudden Illness Li Shunwen was the principal and party secretary of Beipiao City First High
School in Liaoning Province. Not only did he discontinue paying wages and
benefits to school faculty and staff who were Dafa disciples, Li also placed
many Dafa disciples under surveillance. In 2002, Li suddenly came down with a

people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by
