The Persecution of a Dafa Practitioner from the Countryside in Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a woman who lives in the countryside. Before I obtained Dafa I had skin cancer. All the medical treatment I took had no effect on my illness. At that critical time between life and death, I obtained Dafa in October 1997. Within one week, all kinds of symptoms miraculously disappeared! I really experienced being illness-free.

Since July 20, 1999, the TV media started to slander Dafa. In order to explain the truth that Falun Gong can help people in all aspects with no harm at all, after much consideration, I went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa. Later I was brought back by the local government; then my home was searched, and I was fined and detained. Facing the unfair treatment, I went to Tiananmen Square again.

After I came back home, the staff of the township comprehensive administration office cruelly tortured me in the police station, beating me simply because I am a kindhearted person wanting to follow "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Tolerance." One of the staff told me shamelessly, "My new leather shoes were torn from kicking you."

The second day, I was sent to the township government. The evil people there used an electric cable to lash and torture me for three hours. If it were not for the power of Dafa, I would probably have died from that torture. Next, they sent me to a detention center and illegally detained me for two months, and then I was illegally sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.

Upon arriving at the labor camp, I was assigned to the No. 5 team. Because I was not yielding to the persecution, I was assigned to one week of physical punishment. They forced me to stand facing a wall for 14-15 hours each and every day. Later I was assigned to the No. 7 team. There I was forced to sit like a soldier for 14-15 hours a day every day. If the sitting did not meet their standard, I would get beaten and cursed. In the cold winter, I was forced to stand during the day and was cuffed to the second floor corridor at night for two days. In the beginning, I resisted the persecution by refusing to count off or greet the guards. For this I was punished with more severe persecution: I was forbidden to sleep for three days and nights in a row. I was then forced to stand for 17-18 hours per day, sometimes 20-22 hours per day. I was allowed to use the bathroom only after 17-18 hours of standing punishment. Sometimes when I could not hold it anymore, I eliminated into my pants.

After my forced labor term was finished, the policemen transferred me to a brainwashing center in the local detention center. There I never received enough to eat and never got enough sleep. My life there was worse than the life of a criminal or murderer. In addition, I had to take part in military training. If I did not cooperate, they would kick and beat me with their batons.

The above is a brief description of the persecution I went through. I am still illegally detained to this day.
