Non-Practitioners Treasure and Defend Dafa

At a get-together a few days ago , a former classmate told me, "I'm now collecting Falun Dafa materials and videos. Though you can see that China is currently against Falun Gong, there will be a day when everything is changed. At that time, what I have collected will be evidence of Jiang Zemin's crimes and will be a record of 'today in history.'" He said when he first started his collection, his wife was a little afraid, but now she supports him.

He said he once came upon a man who bought and sold used items, and in his cart he saw some Falun Gong books. My friend said that he had paid a substantial price to get one of the books. So I told my old classmate, "You are great. In the future these books will be very precious to the people of the world. Long, long ago Xuanzang [a Buddhist figure in the book Journey to the West] traveled for many years and endured all sorts of tribulations before he finally found genuine teachings. Now you have obtained them so easily." He replied, "Even though I do not practice Falun Gong, I do know to tell people the truth about it. In fact, I often argue with people at work when we chat about Falun Gong. At first some of them are extremely against Falun Gong because they've accepted the lies on TV. So I ask them, 'How many Falun Gong practitioners do you know? Which one is like the ones on TV? Don't accept those media stories without seeing with your own eyes. I have several old classmates who are practicing Falun Gong and none of them is like what's on TV. The TV is just fabricating lies and deception. Falun Gong practitioners are good people. I tell them, 'In the future Falun Gong will regain its good reputation.' 'Every other country in the world has Falun Gong practitioners.' 'Falun Gong is experiencing tragic times and so you say something like this. When everything changes, you will be ashamed of what you have said today.'"

I felt that we Dafa disciples have not been wasting time. We have awakened so many lives with righteous thoughts and compassionate natures. Listening to his words, I felt happy for him, and my mind was filled with righteous thoughts. Honest and just people are awakening from silence.
