Fushun City Police Kidnap and Beat Practitioners, Loot Their Homes

(Clearwisdom.net) At 8:15 PM on January 18, 2002, eight or nine persons from the Shuncheng Public Security Sub-bureau in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, suddenly broke into Mr. Ding Lunhou's home. After breaking into his room, they did not show any ID and just entered the premises with force and ransacked things at will. Two women from the Hebei Town Women's Association, a man with the last name of Zhang, and the Party Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee were also involved in this home invasion. One of the two women from the Hebei Town Women's Association grabbed Li Lanying by the hair. The director of the police substation with the last name Nie shook his fists and struck heavy blows on Li Lanying's face until it was swollen from the beating. The corrupt policeman Guan Weili dragged Mr. Ding outside, squeezing Ding's neck tightly in his arms. By the time he had dragged Mr. Ding into the corridor, the man's neck had been crushed, causing him to become unable to breathe and to begin to vomit. Director Nie grabbed him by the hair and flailed his fists to beat Mr. Ding. All the other policemen swarmed on top of him, some bending his neck, some beating his body. As a result, he had injuries all over his body. Finally, they forced Mr. Ding into the police car.

There were in total five Dafa practitioners who had been forced into the police car, one man and four women. Except for one 70-year-old lady, the rest were all in their fifties. After they arrived at the Hebei Police Substation, the policemen brutally assaulted them. They did not even go easy on the 70-year-old lady. All four female Dafa practitioners, including Ms. Cheng Yongyan, were very severely beaten. Mr. Ding Lunhou was the only male Dafa practitioner. Five policemen beat him at the same time, knocking some of his teeth out. His entire body was injured, from head to toe. The ruffians also confiscated Li Lanying's money and put it into their own pockets.

At about 10:00 PM, the Falun Dafa practitioners were detained at the Shuncheng Public Security Bureau. Two of them were handcuffed together and detained there all night. At about 11:00 PM, the director Nie of the Hebei Police Substation took the key that he confiscated, and followed by several policemen, they went to Mr. Ding Lunhou's home and started a new round of 'confiscation' without permission. They took away a tape recorder and the children's blank tapes. In order to cover up their illegal act, they fabricated and told several lies to Mr. Ding's workplace, saying that he had hidden a photocopier, and even that he had beaten them up, and they thus asked his workplace to take deductions from his wages to compensate them. By this deceptive means, Nie wrongfully extorted Mr. Ding's work wages. In order to provide incentive for the public security officers to arrest more Falun Dafa practitioners, the politics and law department used an 'award' of 500 Yuan for the arrest of each practitioner. The greedy policemen gave up their own humanity in order to get more money.

On January 19, 2002, Mr. Ding Lunhou was sent by the Hebei Police Substation to be brainwashed at the Fushun City Labor and Education Camp in Fushun, Liaoning Province. He was taken to Team Nine -- the new recruits class. The majority of the new recruits class were criminals, few were fellow Falun Dafa practitioners. The newly arrived Dafa practitioners would have to go through a brainwashing test. The monitor and the staff who were mainly in charge were all prisoners who themselves had to be reeducated through forced labor. The leaders of the forced labor camp entrusted to them the task of brainwashing practitioners. They took Mr. Ding to a room and asked him to squat down in the space between two beds and started to use torture instruments on him. The monitor said: "I am not against Falun Gong, but this task has been entrusted to me by the labor camp." He stood up immediately, and with shoes on, kicked heavily at Mr. Ding's throat. He took a wooden stool and beat Mr. Ding on the back of his neck, and several times he was nearly beaten to the ground. Some prisoners used wooden board to beat him on the head. Mr. Ding could not eat anything since his throat had been injured. Many Falun Dafa practitioners have been persecuted to different degrees. Some of them could not speak for several days.
