San Francisco: Bay Area Practitioners Hold Press Conference to Demand Release of US Citizen Charles Li (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 24 at 1 p.m., San Francisco: Bay Area practitioners held a press conference in front of the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco to strongly condemn the Chinese government's illegal trial of a Falun Gong practitioner and demand China the release of US citizen Charles Li.

Bay Area Falun Gong spokesperson Sherry Zhang pointed out that it has been close to 4 years since the Jiang regime mobilized much of China's national resources to persecute millions of Falun Gong practitioners who practice "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance." This is an unprecedented catastrophe in human history of trampling human rights. Now, this persecution is being extended overseas. We appeal to all good people in society to work together to stop this persecution and demand the Chinese government to release US citizen Charles Li immediately.

During the press conference, Ms. Ma exposed the Jiang regime's brutal crimes. Several news media were present and interviewed practitioners. Dozens of people who lined up outside consulate for business listened to the speech quietly. Some came to talk to practitioners and expressed support.
