[Beijing City] Policeman Reveals Inside Information about Plans to Kill Falun Dafa Practitioners
Recently, according to an inside source, a high-ranking policeman revealed that, "Presently, 40,000 Yuan [equal to seven years' annual income of an average worker in China] will be extorted from any Falun Gong practitioner arrested. For those who refuse to be 'reformed' and are beaten to death, we will tell others that they escaped."
[Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Detained Falun Dafa Practitioners Resist Persecution in Brainwashing Center
Falun Dafa practitioners who are illegally detained in the Brainwashing Center in Hebei's provincial capital are sending forth righteous thoughts together at certain times every day to eliminate the evil factors in other dimensions. Practitioners have recently broken through the separation that the wicked people had set up in order to persecute practitioners one by one. They began anew to share their cultivation experiences whenever they wanted to. And there are more and more steadfast practitioners. The authorities even openly acknowledged the failure of the brainwashing.
[Xushui Couty, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Zhao Weimin and Niu Ming Are Illegally Detained
On September 25, 2002, Zhao Weimin, together with four other Falun Dafa practitioners, was arrested. We only recently found out their whereabouts. It is learned that Zhao Weimin and Niu Ming are being secretly detained in the Xushui Detention House in Baoding Area, far from Shijiazhuang City, where they are being severely tortured.
[Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Sun Biao Missing for Over Three Years
On July 20, 1999, Sun Biao went to appeal for Falun Dafa, to the Hubei provincial government. He
was detained for several hours because he didn't give his name and address. On September 19, 1999,
he again went to appeal, this time in Beijing. Since then, his whereabouts have remained unknown.
His wife had 3,000 yuan extorted from her, as a fine (she was not given any receipt) to get Sun Biao
back from Beijing. However, Sun Biao hasn't come back yet, and his family is very concerned about
his personal safety.
[Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Yin Is Arrested
On the evening of March 5, 2003, police from the Development Area and the Huanghedadao Police Substation arrested Zhang Yin at his (her) daughter's home. His (her) whereabouts are as of yet unknown.
[Suining City, Sichuan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zeng Yonghao Is Arrested
Zeng Yonghao was illegally arrested at his dwelling in Chongqing City in late July 2002. He is currently being detained in the Lingquanshi Detention House in Chongqing. Mr. Zeng has been very steadfast in safeguarding Dafa since July 20, 1999, and has been illegally detained three times. The National Security Bureau has lately been attempting to pass on to the Procurate 'implicating evidence' that they collected on him.

[Xinxiang City & Leihe City, Henan Province] Current Situation Regarding the Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners
Liu Rong, over 60 years old, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Pingyuan University in Xinxiang City. After July 20, 1999, he (she) went to Beijing to validate Dafa, and was escorted back to a local police station. At the end of 2002, he (she) was finally released after a long-term of illegal detention. One month later, he (she) was arrested again and has been detained ever since. According to an insider at the Hongqi Public Security Branch, the Procurate will soon sentence him (her) to prison.
A site producing materials about Falun Dafa was destroyed in Leihe City. The Yuanhui Public Security Branch arrested three male and three female practitioners including Liu Hongxia. They are currently being detained in the Leihe Detention House. According to a reliable source, the six practitioners are to be sentenced to prison terms.

In November 1999, the Hebei Decoration Printing Corporation Ltd., in the name of "breaking the law," fired six Falun Dafa practitioners who had gone to Beijing, in accordance with their constitutional rights, to appeal for Falun Dafa. The management of the Corporation said, "They must insult and defame Falun Dafa through the media according to our requirements if they want to get their jobs back."

It is learned that the Geleshan Brainwashing Center still unlawfully detains Falun Dafa practitioners, including those who are directly sent to the Center after illegal arrest, those who are transferred to the Center after completion of terms in forced labor camps, and those who have been illegitimately detained in the Center for a long time because they refuse to renounce their firm belief in Falun Dafa. Police in the Xuchang Forced Labor Camp instruct prisoners to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners using extremely vicious means of torture, including burning their feet with cigarettes, sticking needles into practitioners' bodies, not allowing them to sleep, brushing their anuses with tooth-brushes and then forcing practitioners to brush their teeth with them, beating with rubber prods, tying their hands with ropes until practitioners' hands becoming too swollen to pick up things to eat, etc.
[Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Police Illegally Ransack a Falun Dafa Practitioners' Home
Around 3:00 p.m. on March 9, 2003, about ten policemen from the Politics & Security Section of Suizhong Public Security Bureau and the Airport Police Substation came to practitioner Han Fuqin's home. They illegally ransacked her place and stole Falun Dafa books, exercise music tapes and truth-clarifying materials.
