Eight Falun Gong Practitioners and Family Members Secretly Arrested By Mengzhou City Police Department, Henan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Before the Chinese Spring Festival in February, the Mengzhou City Police Department of Henan Province secretly arrested five to six Dafa practitioners and sentenced them to forced labor. The identities of only three of the practitioners have been discovered - Geng Huaming, Geng Juying (female) and Zhao Yongzhong. The police department did not even inform their family members.

After Clearwisdom exposed the facts of the persecution of Dafa practitioners by the Mengzhou City Police Department, the police officers became even more vicious. On March 3, 2003, several dozen people from the Mengzhou City Police Department and several criminal police divisions, led by the people from the politics and law committee, raided Dongxiaoqiu Town, searching homes and arresting people. They arrested eight people, five of whom were practitioners Xing Lingge (female), Gong Yuzhen (female), Wu Aiyun (female), Xing Ting and Tang Keyu. The remaining three people were the practitioners' family members. The three family members were trying the stop the unjustified arrest and beating of the practitioners when they were arrested. Currently, two family members of the Dafa practitioners are still under detention and the other one's whereabouts are unknown. The location of the arrested Dafa practitioners is also unknown, as the police have strictly blocked the information.
