Always Focus on Doing "What Dafa Disciples Should Do"

Recently, all of us have felt that the Fa-rectification progress has been speeding up. We are busy working on various kinds of Dafa work day and night. Being busy in saving sentient beings should be a normal state in Fa-rectification cultivation. It seems to me, however, that we have been doing things passively. We are like firefighters, exhausting ourselves while putting out the flames of "emergency" situations. I don't think that is what we are expected to do.

The old forces have been trying to control the Fa-rectification progress. Yet we are supposed to break through all the arrangements by the old forces and do what Dafa disciples should do.

The immense force of the Fa-rectification of the entire cosmos is under Teacher's control. Nothing can change that. What we need to do in this small human world in order to guide the trend of everyday people is the task that Teacher has assigned to us. Therefore, it is very important for us to be absolutely clear about what we should do and how we should to do it.

There are two parts to clarifying the truth. One is to clarify the truth to the precious Chinese people. The other is to help different governments know the truth. The old forces' systematic arrangements paid special attention to controlling Mainland China as well as to deceiving the governments of different countries around the world. Here I would like to share my understandings of the old forces' arrangements for the governments around the world.

Governments, especially those of the democratic countries, represent their people. It is our important responsibility to systematically clarify the truth to those governments and help them choose a direction that will lead them to make correct decisions that will benefit their people. Because that is so important, we can imagine how hard the old forces have been trying to block information on Falun Gong inside China from getting to the governments outside China and how hard we need to work in order to break through that blockade.

Recently, there have been several urgent cases popping up in quite a few countries where we needed to rescue our fellow practitioners. The superficial manifestations are that a few departments in those countries decided to deport back to China some of our fellow practitioners who lost their legal rights to stay in those countries. The root cause for these cases is that those governments and those governmental departments haven't truly understood the essential characteristics of the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. They still didn't clearly know how serious and how evil the persecution is. Thus, they didn't truly, actively protect Falun Dafa practitioners' personal safety.

While we were urgently rescuing our fellow practitioners, we tended to get upset easily, and blame those governments and governmental departments, because we were very eager to get our fellow practitioners out safely. When looking at the Fa-rectification's requirements for us, we can see that we are still far from clearly explaining the persecution facts to those governments. We have not done enough to help them understand that the evil persecution is targeted toward everyone and toward the conscience of humankind.

The reason we have failed is because we, as one body, haven't truly realized that the purpose of all the work in Dafa is to save the sentient beings. Anything that does not directly contribute to this essential goal is a deviation from the progress of Fa-rectification and becomes an everyday people's matter. That is why the effectiveness of our results didn't differ very much from that of everyday people.

When rescuing our fellow practitioners did we simply find ourselves, as a whole, with no time to make breakthroughs in clarifying the truth to the governments? Or did we fail to remember that clarifying the truth to the governments is to help them understand the true situation? If so, the rescue work was separate from our major responsibility of saving the sentient beings. Isn't it because of this that we didn't achieve positive, lasting results? While we were busy working on those specific cases, we neglected essential grass-roots work , which resulted in a delay on some long-term, essential tasks. Isn't it because we were busy with those cases, and we enjoyed the state of being busy, that we had no energy left to understand the requirements of the higher levels and the broader scopes?

Under the current, complex situation, we need to maintain the wisdom and the clear-headedness empowered to us by the Fa. We should not be confused by superficial manifestations. We need to constantly remember that saving the sentient beings is our essential responsibility. Practitioners who work with VIP's should always remember that anything we encounter can be used as a positive opportunity to more deeply and more broadly clarify the truth to the governments. We need to help them truly understand their responsibilities and that their choices are related to the future of their country and their people. We cannot just focus on finishing a task. We need to stay calm and peaceful. We need to have immense compassion and tolerance. We should not become emotional and complain. Regardless of the old forces' original goal, we can use everything arranged by them for our own purposes, making them very good opportunities for clarifying the truth. As long as we can strengthen our righteous thoughts, we can make the best use of every opportunity to act righteously.

Specifically, one of our first tasks is for each of us to help our own country's government understand the nature of the persecution itself. Secondly, we need to let them know why the persecution of Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners is also a persecution of our own countries, our people, and our governments. We should also tell them what they need to do in order to benefit our countries and our people.

Whenever a problem like this arises, we need to realize that we haven't clarified the truth enough, then we need to adjust our plans to carefully deal with the problem. We should explain the related facts to the people and the governmental departments that are directly or indirectly involved. In this way, we will not only solve the problem itself, but also not restrain ourselves by focusing too narrowly on the details of a specific problem. We will be able to transform the problem into an opportunity to more deeply and more broadly clarify the truth. We should not avoid the problem, try to find an easy way out, or passively handle the problem. We should not leave any chance for the old forces to take advantage of us. We need to be proactive and focus on what we want to do so that we can use our great compassion to achieve Teacher's goal, which is to save all of the sentient beings.
