Falun Dafa Club at American University Initiates Petition Drive for Urgent Rescue of Charles Li (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 25, 2003, the Falun Dafa club at American University initiated a petition drive for the urgent rescue of Charles Li.

When students on campus learned from our photo exhibition boards that US citizen Charles Li was arrested by Chinese authorities for practicing Falun Gong, they signed their names to express their hope that Charles would regain his freedom soon. A student said indignantly, "The Chinese regime is evil. Chinese people are so good but the regime deprives its people of their freedom. Now it's time for us to stop them."

After signing their names, students and professors wanted to know more information and hoped that Charles Li would return to the US soon. Within less than two hours, we collected over 50 signatures.

The Falun Dafa Club at American University will hold a series of urgent rescue activities until Charles Li is released.
