South Dakota Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Appeal Activities in Two Large Cities to Rescue Charles Li (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) To rescue Dr. Charles Li, a US citizen imprisoned in China, South Dakota practitioners held a series of activities to expose the Jiang regime's evil nature and call on the US government and people to help Dr. Li gain freedom as early as possible.

1. On March 18, 2003, Tuesday, we held a press conference in Sioux Falls, the largest city in the state. A TV station that had never carried any reports about activities of local Dafa practitioners covered the whole event and reported it in several large cities in the state.

2. On March 22, 2003, Sunday, we held a press conference in Rapid City, the second largest city in South Dakota. A Local TV station came to cover the event and reported it in the afternoon. It was also the first time this TV station reported our activities.

Though the local practitioners had not held such activities by themselves, they cooperated well, looked within when facing difficulty and checked every thought. Within a short time, they carried out the activities smoothly, exhibiting the power of "one body."

As long as Dr. Li has not returned to the US, we will continue to appeal and help more government officials and people to understand further the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
