Taiwan: First "Journey of Falun Dafa" Photo Exhibition Held at National Taiwan Normal University (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On a weekend in late March, we held a three-day "Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition.

As there were not many student practitioners on campus, and we were not experienced enough, many preparations were made either the day before the exhibition or on the spot. Fortunately many practitioners came to give us timely help, so we had a very successful exhibition.

A practitioner who studies at the university offered to rent a site but didn't have enough money for deposit. Another practitioner borrowed money and paid the deposit. But not until the night before the exhibition did we realize that it had been raining for several days and we may need a tent, so at around 8:00 p.m., one practitioner contacted a tent factory to borrow a tent. Around 11:00 p.m., another practitioner sent tables needed on the first day of the exhibition to the place near the exhibition site. Early next morning, some practitioners who had stayed up late to make preparations wanted to take a nap, but they still got up twice to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil elements in other dimensions that may interfere with the photo exhibition. When we arrived at the site, a practitioner sent along the photos and then went off to work.

Four practitioners at the site were not familiar with each other, but we cooperated quite well, and we discussed how to display various materials. Other than handing out flyers, many people asked where the practice site is at the Taiwan Normal University. We told them that there was no practice site for now on the campus, but there are practice sites at the nearby National Taiwan University and in Senlin Park about 30 minutes away. Many people carefully looked at our photos.

A person from Indonesia wanted to learn the exercises. He said that he saw many people practicing the exercises in Indonesia and wanted to learn too. We gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun. This also reminded us that there are many people who spoke other languages on campus, so we went to another practitioner's place that night to borrow different versions of Zhuan Falun, and wrapped them with book covers. The third day when we displayed them, many people showed interest. On the third day, another non-Chinese person said to us that he wanted to learn more about Falun Gong. We went to a nearby bookstore to buy an English version of Zhuan Falun. They insisted on paying us for the books.

A practitioner happened to pass by and found that we were holding the exhibition. So he remained to help us.

We concluded each day at different times, as there were many people during the evening. Each day, many practitioners came to help us carry the photo display boards from and back to the Normal University.

We realized that we have a lot to do to improve ourselves, and we planned to establish a practice site on campus. Besides our daily work and study, we will hold group practice and group Fa-study, providing an opportunity for more people to learn about the truth and obtain the Fa.
