Resisting Police Arrest and Exposing the Evil from My Street Side Balcony to the People Passing By

(Clearwisdom.net) In the morning of September 23, 2002, policemen came to arrest me. I did not open my door and told them: "I do not trust you; you are liars. Last time, you deceived me into going with you, please do not harass me anymore." At that time there were four or five policemen who were knocking on my door. Another person, who appeared to be the police head, climbed to the window on the third floor of my home.

Then, Teacher's words appeared in my mind: "Why not turn the tables and expose the evil and clarify the truth to them?" ("A Suggestion" from Essentials for Further Advancement II) Since the balcony of my home opens right on the street, without any fear, my husband and I started exposing their criminal behaviors. I started telling about the evil nature of Jiang Zemin, to the cases of the Dafa practitioners being persecuted, to the lie-making TV stations and how they had framed Falun Gong. I used my personal sufferings in the forced labor camp to expose the evils. More and more people were attracted to the scene to listen to me. After my throat was too dry to speak anymore, my husband would continue. Over ten policemen hid behind the building and did not dare to come out, they kept on asking for more policemen to come by using their walkie-talkies.

After a while, a police car tried to drive people away, but nobody moved, some raised their thumbs to praise us. The policemen had to leave without bothering us further.

Through this event, I better understood the meaning of Teacher's words

"It's like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths..." ("Hurry Up and Tell Them," August 21, 2002). We were happy that so many people learned the truth of Dafa in this way.

My colleagues used to be afraid of me when talking with them about Falun Gong. Some thought we were detained because we had acted against the government. But through this event, they learned the truth of Dafa and the facts that Dafa practitioners were unfairly treated.
