Ms. Lin Wenrong, who is studying in D sseldorf, Germany, went back to her
hometown of Wuhan to visit her family and relatives before the Chinese Spring

imprisoned in China since then. Lin Wenrong's classmates and friends in Germany are very concerned about her

arrested and detained on her arrival in Wuhan. Her classmates and the Falun Gong
practitioners in D sseldorf where she lives, as well as in all other parts of
Germany, are launching an SOS Rescue campaign to help release her. Regarding the
current situation of Ms. Lin Wenrong and the rescue effort on her behalf, a
reporter interviewed Ms. Zheng. Here is a transcript of the interview: "The case of Ms. Lin Wenrong has aroused serious concern from human rights
groups in Germany. The city government of D sseldorf, where Ms. Lin Wenrong
lives and studies, is shocked to learn about the case of Ms. Lin Wenrong. So far
all the media in Nordrhein-Westfalen, where Ms. Lin Wenrong lives, have reported
on this case. In addition, the language school where she is studying held an
activity to collect signatures that appealed for her immediate release so that
she can return to Germany to continue her studies. The petition was handed in to
the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the related government departments.
This weekend, there will be activities in front of the Chinese Consulate in Bonn
also appealing for the release of Ms. Lin Wenrong."
