How I Clarified the Truth to My School Teachers
By a young practitioner from Hubei Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Once during class my drawing teacher spoke
negatively about Falun Gong. She told the students in my class not to practice
Falun Gong. After the class I wrote a note to the teacher in charge of my class,
"Teacher Wang, Falun Gong cultivation is based on Zhen-Shan-Ren. It teaches
people to be good. You also teach us to be honest. Since we are supposed to be
good persons, how come the drawing teacher told us not to learn Falun Gong?"
The next day I went to teacher Wang's office. She asked me why I raised this
question. I told her that since the drawing teacher told everyone not to learn
Falun Gong, I felt compelled to ask the question.
Teacher Wang explained to me how she interprets "Zhen-Shan-Ren." She then
said to me, "Mr. Li Hongzhi said humans can become Buddhas through cultivation,
but I don't think that is possible."
At that moment, several other teachers came in, the drawing teacher among
them. I tried my best to explain to the teachers what cultivation means.
Although they were not convinced, they all smiled at me. There was no more
hostility.
Teacher Wang finally said, "Those who conform with Zhen-Shan-Ren are
absolutely good people. Not many can do that; we should all strive to be that
good."
