Cultivation Practice Returns My Health, and Teacher Protects Me from Danger

I am a woman who lives in a rural area. In 1998 I was on the verge of death. After practicing Falun Dafa, my health miraculously returned.

I had a terminal illness when I began to practice Falun Gong. I had used up more than 4000 Yuan [average monthly salary of a rural Chinese worker is 200 Yuan] collected by my family from all available sources in an attempt to cure my disease. All the treatments I had tried were to no avail. After receiving medication for several months, I was on the verge of death. My family even prepared my burial clothes for me, weeping all day long.

In the winter of 1998, in the village where I live, a Falun Gong seminar was held. I went to the seminar with the help of my family. The miracles happened right after the first lecture. First, I felt my whole body became light. Then, I had an unusual pain in my belly. Five days later, I could eat and drink. All of the people in the village were extremely surprised. The elder people said, "Li Hongzhi is not an ordinary person." After that, I continued learning the Fa [law and principles] and practicing the exercises. I have not been sick for five years.

In September 2001, a villager and I encountered a swarm of poisonous bees when we were collecting nuts from tea trees. Both of us were stung on the head. Nothing happened to my head because I started practicing the Falun Gong exercises, but my friend's head swelled up, and she suffered extreme pain. It cost her several hundred Yuan to have injections and medicine.

In August of this year, when I was cutting stalks of sweet potatoes, I accidentally touched the exposed 220-volt electric wire that was not high above the ground. I felt like fainting, but thought of my being a Dafa practitioner, and I came back to consciousness immediately. I discovered I was holding the electric wires in my hands, while a person beside me was trying to move the wires aside. The whole village was amazed. Some people said that I was fortunate, while others recognized that Falun Gong is miraculous. These incidents made me fully enlighten to the way in which Master protects me. I have no way to thank him, except to be more diligent in my cultivation.
