(Clearwisdom.net) On March 4, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners from Connecticut
held a news conference at the New Haven City Hall to call for the rescue of
Charles Li. Meanwhile, a petition campaign was initiated in many cities.
The Mayor of New Haven and other government officials and staff greatly
supported this activity. They provided us with a meeting room in the City Hall.
Many staff members also signed the petition to urge the Chinese Government to
immediately release Charles Li.
On March 6, practitioners will carry out petition activities at the state
capital Hartford and the city of Mildford.
