An Open Letter to the Police Who Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners in Mainland China

You used to protect people. When people were in danger or in trouble, they would first think of asking you for help. However, for some time, the kind-hearted people have started to keep a distance from you. Now they are even avoiding you. That's because some of you have degraded yourselves, and become gangsters and local ruffians. Some of you are now hurting the public.

Since July 20^th 1999, some of you have become the talons and fangs of the Jiang's regime, persecuting practitioners who follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. You have skillfully and thoroughly used cruelty, deceit, greed, and maliciousness, all of which you have learned amidst political struggles, on a group of kind-hearted people. As you have seen, many of them are elderly, women, and children. How many innocent lives you have killed! How many good people you have tortured and disabled! How many people you have forced to leave their families and to wander about to avoid more persecution! How much money you have stolen to carry out this persecution! You have created so many tragedies. The blood of kind-hearted practitioners stains your hands.

However, today, three years after the start of the persecution, after laying to rest one after another of our fellow practitioners, after wiping away our tears, after calming down amidst the physical and mental suffering that you imposed on us, we still want to talk to you. We want to let you know the truth about Falun Gong. We want you to know that "good is rewarded with good, and evil with evil," a principle that has been proven true by countless people's personal experiences. Do you know why we do this? It is because we used to be your friends, classmates, relatives, and neighbors. We all live under the same blue sky. We all live on the same piece of land. It is because we know you used to have a pure heart and a beautiful dream. We used to fight together with you for a common goal. It is because we know you still know how to love your wife, your children, your parents, and your siblings. You still have humanity left. It is because we know many of you haven't found out the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. You haven't found out what Falun Dafa really is. You haven't realized what it means for your future and your family's future when you persecute Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners.

Thus, we use up our small salaries and savings to make truth-clarification fliers and CDs. We brave the danger of being persecuted by you to send those materials to so many people, including you. Our goal is to give you another opportunity to learn what Falun Dafa really is, to rethink about the persecution, to reflect on your own words, actions and thoughts towards the persecution during the past three years, and to reposition yourselves. We hope that before Heaven's punishment is upon you, you will have a chance to do something to atone for the crimes that you have committed against Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners.

So please, whatever it takes, stop what you're doing for a minute. Please use your heart to read and to understand the gifts that we have sent you. It is our biggest wish that you can understand them as a warning from the heavens and as something from Falun Dafa practitioners' hearts, something that is formed by our sweat, our blood, and our lives.

No matter what you decide to do, please believe this and remember this forever -- in this world, those ordinary-looking Falun Dafa practitioners are the people who truly care about your future. No matter where we are, in a prison or wandering about to avoid your persecution of us, no matter whether you have treated us kindly or badly before, we care about you all the same. We will be the first person to cheer for you when you understand the truth and choose the side of kindness, so that you will have a better future.
