Tsinghua University Graduate Recounts to Taipei Mayor His Personal Experience in Being Persecuted for His Cultivation of Falun Gong (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) When Zhao Ming, Tsinghua University graduate and Dafa practitioner from Ireland, came to Taiwan, we wanted to arrange a meeting with Ma Ying-jeou, the mayor of Taipei -- hoping through Zhao Ming's personal experience to expose the brutal persecution against Falun Gong to enable high-ranking officials in Taiwan to learn more about the persecution.

We were given a five to ten minute meeting with Mayor Ma, as he would fly to another place shortly after. After exchanging brief greetings, professor Ming Chu-cheng introduced Zhao Ming, who briefly recounted the persecution he suffered in Mainland China. Mayor Ma asked him about the conditions inside forced labor camps in China. Zhao Ming explained in detail the brutal tortures adopted in China's labor camps. Though Mayor Ma had read about the persecution of Zhao Ming in labor camps, he was still shocked after listening to Zhao Ming's experiences. Mayor Ma continued asking questions, such as brainwashing methods in labor camps, and if police officers adopted illegal and inhuman means used against Falun Gong practitioners. Mayor Ma continued talking with Zhao Ming until he was reminded of the time several times by other officers. Before leaving, Mayor Ma shook hands with practitioners and welcomed Zhao Ming to Taipei.

Dafa practitioners from Tsinghua University presented Mayor Ma with related documents and materials about the rescue of Tsinghua University students in China.
