Freedom Car Tour Arrives at New York Federal Memorial (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) To urgently rescue US citizen Dr. Charles Li arrested without reason by the Chinese government, Falun Gong practitioners from the East Coast of the US initiated the "Freedom Car Tour." The tour started from Plymouth Rock, passing New York, Connecticut, Philadelphia and finished in Washington DC to join the large scale rally to rescue Charles Li.

On March 6 at 11 a.m., practitioners from Boston arrived at the New York Federal Memorial amid heavy snow and met with practitioners from New York. A press conference was held in front of the Federal Memorial. New York western practitioner Levi read a statement on behalf of a Falun Gong practitioner. Levi pointed out that the car tour would pass many scenic places that symbolize the US's spirits of democracy and freedom. However the Chinese government has deprived these most basic human rights of US citizen Charles Li. American citizen Dr. Charles Li was arrested without due process when he went home to visit his parents in China. It has been 47 days. Levi urgently appealed to the American society and US government to be concerned about the case and rescue Dr. Charles Li as soon as possible.

At 12 o'clock, the rescue team left New York for the next stop: Philadelphia's Liberty Bell.
