Germany: People of Aurich Show Concern for the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Aurich is a small town located in the center of the state of Ostfriesland Saxon in Germany. It is a seaside town known for beautiful traditional architecture. Practitioners from Aurich held an information day on March 29, 2003, with help and support from some local students. The stand for the information day was put up in a pedestrian area, close to both a bustling market place and the main streets of Aurich.

On the morning of the information day, many people passed through the pedestrian area. Some watched us demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises in front of the stand, some read the information boards, some talked with the practitioners and others expressed their indignation at the Chinese government's persecution and murder of Falun Gong practitioners.

When some young people heard that it is always free to learn and practice Falun Dafa, they were quite surprised. One middle-aged man passed in front of our stand and seemed very interested. When a practitioner went to give him a flyer, he walked away timidly. A few hours later he returned to the stand and watched from a distance. This time he talked with practitioners in depth. He said that he used to live in China and is interested in learning Falun Dafa. The practitioner told him the facts about the persecution and gave him information on how he could start to learn the exercises.

Throughout the information day, practitioners talked with a lot of people. It was clear that more and more people want to learn about Falun Dafa and find out the facts behind the persecution.
