Death Cases Indirectly Caused by Jiang Regime

In the last four years, Jiang's regime has adopted a policy of brutal terrorism towards Falun Dafa and its practitioners: "Eliminate them physically, ruin their reputations, and bankrupt them financially." At last count at least 641 Dafa practitioners have died as a direct result of brutal torture. In the last four years, however, innumerable people have died indirectly as the result of the government's actions. Here are a few examples:

Ms. Gao, a medical worker in Tang Gangzi Physiotherapy Hospital, in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, suffered from high blood pressure, cerebral hemorrhage, and large-scale myocardial infarction. In her own words, "As a housewife I always wanted to do my share of the household chores. But due to my health, I couldn't even walk around the kitchen with an empty cooking pan." After less than a year's cultivation of Falun Gong, the effects of her stroke disappeared, her blood circulation was greatly improved, and her blood pressure had stabilized. In an experience sharing conference, she talked about the changes in her health after she started to practice Falun Gong. She walked up to the podium briskly, with no hesitation. After finishing her talk, she left the stage with a spring in her step. If you had never seen her before you wouldn't imagine what a very sick person she had been. Barely had she started to feel the "comfort of being free of sickness," however, that the terrorism of Jiang's scoundrel regime began. The cadres from her work unit were always tracking her down for "discussions," and the Political and Judiciary Committee forced her to attend brainwashing classes. She finally succumbed to the extreme pressure and gave up her belief and cultivation. Instead of bringing her happiness, Jiang's regime cut her life short when her physical problems returned, and a few months later she suffered a massive cerebral hemorrhage. She was sent to a hospital in Beijing for brain surgery, but she died, in sickness and in pain, not yet 50 years old.

Mr. Jia, (age 50), an employee of The Industrial Group, Inc. in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, had suffered a stroke. He started to practice Falun Gong in 1999, and, after barely a month, his health miraculously returned to normal. Following Jiang's crackdowns April 25 and July 20, he was forced to attend his company's brainwashing classes. He gave up his cultivation in the face of pressure, and in March 2000 he died of a stroke.

These are only two of countless examples that extend over the entire country, and they far exceed the number of practitioners tortured to death. These innocent people have lost their precious lives simply because, under Jiang's regime, they were not allowed to freely choose their belief in "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance," and they could not freely practice Falun Gong to cure their illnesses and improve their health. Jiang is as responsible for their deaths as if he had killed them himself.
