(Clearwisdom.net) Through studying the Fa, I have gradually expanded my point
of view when looking at problems. When I am not able to clearly perceive a
problem, when I cannot let go of my attachments, or when I cannot surmount
tribulations, I enlarge my own point of view. When I look horizontally, I see a
small continent, the small earth, the solar system, the Milky Way, the small
universe, the celestial body, and the greater celestial body... Those
attachments, those tribulations are just like tiny bits of dust within dust.
Looking vertically, I see a hundred years of a human life, five thousand years
of the history of different dynasties, billions of years, even--Kalpa turning
into hundreds of millions of Kalpa.... Forever returning to this earth and
repeating Samsara.
In the book Falun Gong, Master says, "Yet as a practitioner you will
find the things that people take seriously to be very, very trivial--even too
trivial--because your goal is extremely long-term and far-reaching. You will
live as long as this universe. Then think about those things again: It doesn't
matter if you have them or not. You can put them all behind you when you think
from a broader perspective. "
