The German Wuerzburg Post: Compassion and Brutal Persecution (Clearwisdom.net) The Falun Gong photo exhibition held in the Wuerzburg Adult
University on Muenz Street portrays a vivid contrast between peaceful exercises
and barbaric persecution. These photos demonstrate how China persecutes and
tortures the practitioners of this spiritual movement; people are being tortured
to death or sent to labor camps. Among the imprisoned practitioners is Xiong Wei,
a student of Berlin Industrial University. At this moment, German Falun Gong
practitioners are putting a lot of effort into ensuring her release. Apart from the photos exposing brutality, there are also photos revealing the
elegance and beauty of Falun Gong and introducing its popularity around the
world. There are many people practicing this cultivation system worldwide, which
is composed of five sets of exercises and was introduced to the public by Mr. Li
Hongzhi in China in 1992. The Wuerzburg practitioners organized this photo
display with the support of the city's Cultural Bureau and it ends on April
11th. "Falun Gong does not get involved in politics and is not a religion," stated
one of the Falun Gong practitioners in Wuerzburg. The basic purpose of this
spiritual movement is to teach one to be a good person at all times and live by
the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance". Now there are over 100
million people in over 60 countries practicing Falun Gong. The Chairman of the Adult University in Wuerzburg emphasized that "Looking
for a path to peace is particularly important in the modern world. Falun Gong
reveals to us a righteous path to internal and external peace." Four years ago [Jiang's regime] launched the persecution against Falun Gong.
One of the practitioners in Wuerzburg said, "At first, the Chinese authorities
responded positively to the spiritual practice because many practitioners
suffering from chronic diseases regained their health through their
cultivation." Article from:
