Dafa Practitioner Miraculously Survives Being Hit by A Truck, Makes Rapid Recovery

(Clearwisdom.net) Around 6:00 a.m. in the morning of August 14, 1996, I was riding my bike to the park to practice as usual. As I approached an intersection, suddenly a truck appeared in front of me, and it was too late to get out of the way. The last thing I remember was the vehicle speeding towards me; I didn't even hear the sound of the impact, and I didn't know how I landed.

After a while, as I regained my consciousness, I felt someone holding me [they had put me in the truck], and the person's hand was covering a wound on my forehead. The person was calling to me. I slowly opened my eyes and remembered what had just happened. Immediately I thought, "I am a practitioner of Falun Dafa, and a student of Master Li. I would be ok." The driver eagerly wanted to take me to the hospital. I said to him, "That's all right, I don't need to go."

As I jumped out of the truck, I saw that the truck's windshield was gone, and shattered glass was scattered all over the place. The skid marks were about 50 feet long. Afterwards, I was told by a witness that the force of the impact tossed me over 12 feet into the air, and then I fell onto the river dyke made from stones. Bystanders all thought that I must be dead. The wounds indicated that the windshield hit my head, the truck's front portion hit the left side of my chest, and the front bumper hit my left foot. It's obvious that the truck was going really fast.

I waved at the driver and said, "You can go." He stood there, speechless, as if he didn't hear me. As I was riding my bike to the park, I heard the bystanders saying behind me, "That driver was very lucky today. He met a good person. But how could that person still walk?" I did not recognize the driver's face, nor did I know the numbers on his license plate. Actually I didn't really need to know.

When I arrived at the park, a couple of practitioners and I went to another practitioner's home and used salt water to clean the wounds. Only then did we find that I had a cut above my left eyebrow that was about 0.4 inches long and 0.15 inches deep. There was also a 3 inches diameter haematoma (a blood-filled swelling) on the back of my head. My left leg was also swollen, and the left side of my chest was really sore. At that moment I had trouble walking. Although my right foot appeared to be ok, it started to ache as well. Around 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon, the haematoma on my head was gone. The next day, the cut on the left side of my forehead had healed of itself by afternoon. My right foot also stopped aching, and I could walk again.

Later, my relatives, friends, colleagues and workplace supervisors all came to visit me. On the second day after the accident I was back to studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. Although swelling and aching persisted in the left foot, the wounds I sustained healed faster than normal. Not long after, I completely recovered. This truly is a testimony to the miraculous power of Dafa.
