Seattle Dafa Practitioners Participate in the Washington State Daffodil Festival Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Daffodil Festival was held on April 12 in Tacoma, a city in the state of Washington, USA.

In order to introduce Falun Dafa to the residents, Seattle Dafa practitioners applied to participate in this event. Some practitioners from neighboring states also came to Seattle and then traveled to Tacoma to join in the parade. At 11:00 a.m., the parade began. With the practitioners' powerful righteous thoughts, the rain stopped and the sun emerged.

Three teen-aged practitioners holding a banner reading "Falun Dafa" walked at the front of Falun Gong practitioners' procession. Following them were two groups of practitioners in blue and pink dresses performing a fan dance. Their graceful and elegant dance was well appreciated by those lining the sides of the streets. Following them were practitioners in peach-colored costumes holding daffodils. While walking along the street, they gave daffodils to the spectators. Still after that, practitioners in golden-colored exercise suits demonstrated exercises. At the end were practitioners who held banners reading, "Falun Dafa," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

The procession went along smoothly in a peaceful, happy atmosphere. Our participation was met with warm applause and appreciation from the spectators.
