Yanqing Prison Commits Vicious Crimes by Stripping Practitioners Naked, Shocking their Genitals, and Extorting Money

My predestined relationship to obtain Dafa in 1997 arrived and I started to practice Falun Gong. In the past, I had many serious diseases and I recovered from all of them after beginning the practice. Because I refused to give up practicing Falun Gong, in November 1999, I was kidnapped by the Government of my local town and sent to a brainwashing center for 10 days. I was also fined 550 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly salary for an urban worker].

In August 2000, I went to Beijing to appeal in accordance with my rights under the law. For this I was arrested, then later sent back to my hometown, and unlawfully detained there in a detention center, for 25 days. I was fined by the detention center another 600 Yuan before being sent to a brainwashing center. And I was not released until I paid an additional 500 Yuan.

In January 2001, I went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was arrested on Tiananmen Square, and detained in the Yanqing Prison. Since I resolutely resisted the evil persecution and refused to tell my name, a few policemen decided to give me a heavy beating. They slapped me, burned me with a lit cigarette, and fondled my breasts. Their behavior was cruel and obscene. These gangster policemen forced me to take off my coat so they could torture me with an electric shock baton. They shamelessly shouted, "You are over 50 now. If you were still in your 30's, we would take off all of your clothes." On the second day, policemen stripped two un-married female Falun Gong practitioners naked and used an electric shock baton on their genitals. These two practitioners were in tears after they came back to the cells and told fellow practitioners what happened. We began a hunger strike as a group to protest such hoodlum behaviors by the police. Later four senior practitioners and I were released, however details regarding the other practitioners are not known.

In August 2001, five practitioners, including myself, once again went to Beijing to validate Dafa. We were arrested on Tiananmen Square, then sent back to our hometown. We were detained in a detention center for three and one-half months. I held a hunger strike to peacefully protest the illegal detention, and asked for unconditional release. The head of the detention center, Zhao Enxue, incited his subordinates to force-feed me, and punish me using cruel torture methods. Enduring these tactics caused my body to shake violently. After they injected some unknown drugs into me, they attempted to detain me in the Shijiazhuang Labor Camp, but the labor camp refused to accept me. The policemen at the detention center still didn't want to release me, and detained me in a brainwashing center for 3 more days. Not until they saw that I was on my final breath did they call my family to take me home.

In March 2002, several months after I returned home, I was kidnapped from my home by the "610 Office," [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] my home was ransacked, and personal belongings were confiscated. At the same time, these crooked officials of the "610 Office" stole my savings of 3,000 Yuan from my home, and tried to keep it. With the help of my family, as well as kind-hearted people with a sense of justice, 2,500 Yuan was regained with much effort. I was once again unlawfully detained in a brainwashing center.

In the brainwashing sessions, "Collaborators" [Former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture.] attempted to coerce me by using hypocritical tactics. When they saw that their hypocritical tactics could not move me, they changed their face and started to attack and swear at me. This was their attempt to force me to write a "Statement of Repentance" [In this statement the practitioner is forced to admit remorse for practicing Falun Gong, promise to give up Falun Gong, and never again associate with other practitioners or go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong.] to say that I would stop practicing Falun Gong. I refused, and was imprisoned in a separate cell, alone. It was not only I who endured this. Each practitioner that refused to write the "Statement of Repentance" was detained in a separate cell, alone. With the efforts of my family, relatives, and friends to rescue me, I was released one month later. As my family doesn't practice Falun Gong, they were afraid that the brainwashing center would refuse to release me, so they paid 300 Yuan for "living expenses."

My husband is not a practitioner, but he has a very strong sense of justice. He told the people who persecuted me: "My wife was always ill and had to take a lot of medicine before she practiced Falun Gong. This made the financial situation of my family very difficult. She recovered from all of her diseases after she began practicing Falun Gong and was able to work in the field every day. However, she was detained many times just for saying some truthful words which came from her heart." My husband also said, "It is all right if you ask me to pay living expenses to take her home. If you want me to persuade her to write a pledge to stop practicing Falun Gong, I won't be able to do it and I won't do such a thing either."
