The Moral Courage of Dafa Practitioners' Loved Ones

After my mother-in-law was abducted and sent to the detention center, my father-in-law, who is disabled and unable to walk, was left alone at home. My sister took my father-in-law to the police station and said, "You'd better lock up this poor man together with his wife; otherwise there is no one to take care of him." The police claimed that they wanted to detain my sister, but she said, "Wait for me to bring the sick child here, then you can lock us up all together; this is just nice." Later she brought her child and piggybacked my father-in-law to the police station again to ask for my mother-in-law. After a few days, my mother-in-law was released unconditionally from the detention center.

After my uncle understood the truth about Falun Gong, he admired Dafa and Dafa practitioners very much. He told my mother (a Dafa practitioner) who went for a visit, "Those of you Dafa practitioners who are homeless [to avoid the persecution] with no place to stay, do come to my house!" My uncle frequently told his family members and colleagues the truth about Falun Gong and took the initiative to paste and put up truth clarifying materials about Falun Gong. Many people thought that he was a Falun Gong practitioner. In early 2002, my uncle told a Dafa practitioner, "If you all could make use of the cable TV to broadcast the truth about Falun Gong so that more Chinese citizens in a bigger area could understand the truth, it would be so good!" Three months later, when he heard the news that the Changchun City Dafa practitioners successfully made use of the cable TV to broadcast the truth about Falun Gong, he was extremely delighted.
