Police Brutally Torture Falun Dafa Practitioners from Jinan City and Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province

I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I was sentenced to three years of forced labor because I would not renounce my belief of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." I was imprisoned in the Second Men's Forced-Labor Camp of Shandong Province. There I received both physical and mental torture. The following is what I witnessed and heard while at the camp:

In Linyi District, local police officers kidnapped a 70-year-old man during the autumn of 2000. The police brutally beat him and used extremely vicious torture methods on the elderly man. Several policemen forced his hands into a big pot full of scorpions. His hands were badly stung. They also incited a venomous snake to bite his neck. This is what the practitioner told me himself.

A practitioner from Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province was kidnapped by police and sent to a forced-labor camp in the winter of 2000. The police severely tortured him during interrogations. They wrapped wire around the practitioner's fingers then tortured him by applying electricity to the wires. During several days of continuous abuse, the practitioner lost conscious more than forty times.

A recent graduate student in Jinan City was sent to Jinan Forced-Labor Camp because he used the Internet to expose the persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang and his followers. In the camp, vicious people tied him to a torture bed called "Shang-long-chuang," immobilizing his arms and legs. Outdoors, during the freezing winter, he was tied to the bed for seven days and nights, which left one of his feet disabled. Two toes of that foot had to be amputated. The practitioner said that there were other practitioners in that camp being tortured with this method. Some practitioners were tied to the bed for more than two weeks, and some were tied to it for as long as one month.

Mr. Man is a practitioner detained in the Wangcun Forced-Labor Camp of Shandong Province. He was locked in an isolation cell because he refused to give up his Falun Gong belief and practice. Police used electric batons to shock him, hung him by his handcuffed wrists for a long time, and deprived him of sleep. He endured such torture for more than three months.

A young practitioner from the Shandong Yan Mine Group Company was sent to a brainwashing center; he had exposed the lies and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by vicious people. For doing so, he was forcibly sent to the Daizhuang Mental Hospital in Jining City, Shandong Province. There he was subjected to torture for more than four months. Perpetrators in the hospital injected him with a large amount of strong drugs to destroy his neural system. The practitioner told me that after they injected him, his tongue hung out of his mouth, his eye pupils were unable to move and his head felt as if it was being penetrated by needles. The pain was so unbearable that it made him roll around on the floor.

All of these appalling sins committed by Jiang and these perpetrators while persecuting Falun Gong will be judged by universal principles and righteousness.
