How My Mom Broke Through the Arrangements of the Old Forces After My Father Passed Away Due to the Persecution
(Clearwisdom.net) After my father passed away due to the persecution, my
mom really had a very difficult time in her cultivation. Several times she was
one step away from leaving a loophole for the old forces to take advantage.
During these occasions she could have lost her life if she failed to have
righteous thoughts. However, Mom finally broke the arrangements by the old
forces, relying on her strong righteous belief in our Teacher and Falun Dafa and
the blessing of Teacher's compassion and mercy. My father was a local Falun Dafa assistant with a practice site at our home.
After July 20, 1999 when my father went to Beijing to appeal, the "610
Office"*, our neighbourhood committee and the Chinese Education Commission
persecuted him relentlessly. After his salary was withheld for 18 months his
physical and mental health was affected greatly. He was forced to live a
wretched life far from home to avoid being arrested. Because of the fabrications
that the Jiang regime used to frame Falun Dafa practitioners, policemen suddenly
came to my house to "investigate" my father. This incident greatly
disturbed my father. After the policemen left, my father suffered a great deal
physically. My elder brother and aunt who did not practice Falun Dafa sent my
father to a hospital, and he passed away one hour after he was admitted into the
hospital. The sudden death of my father was a heavy blow to my mother. She had only two
years of schooling. However, when she began to practice the exercises and
studied the Fa [law and principles] she was able to read all the works of
our Teacher and articles from Clearwisdom. My mom and dad bought books,
cassettes and video recorders, and set up a practice site at our home. They
devoted all their energies to Falun Dafa. After July 20 they went to the
provincial government to appeal. My mother and fellow practitioners from her
practice site went to Beijing to appeal. My father, my elder sister, and I all
had been jailed for stepping forward to speak out for Falun Dafa. My mother
strongly supported us. At the time when my father was being persecuted, Mom
negated the evil and never took a step back. After my father passed away, the old forces started a frenzied persecution
against my mother. My elder brother, who had opposed Mom in her practice of
Falun Dafa, did not denounce the evil persecution carried out by the lawless
people, but instead intensified his efforts to make Mom quit practicing Falun
Dafa. He attributed our family's suffering to my parents' practice of Falun Dafa.
Mom suffered from interference from other dimensions on many occasions. Three
days after the death of my father, Mom suddenly started to fall, but my younger
sister and I caught her. A few days after this she began to feel numb in her
head, weak in her four limbs, could not walk properly and felt very
uncomfortable in her heart. That day was the last day of my home leave and my
work unit urged me to go back to work. (I should have more than 20 days of home
leave. However, because I practice Falun Dafa the people in my work unit
restricted my home leave. Even when my father passed away they did not give me
leave.) My mom lived by herself with no help. If I left for work her life could
be in danger. I wanted to take Mom with me back to my home, but she was too weak
to move. I realized the seriousness of the situation and knew that I could not
leave her behind at the critical moment, so I phoned my boss at the work, asking
for leave. However, no one answered the phone. Finally I found the on-duty
office, so I told them the reason why I could not return on time. At that time I
did not really care if they gave me leave or not. Not long after the on-duty
office rang me back saying that I could have two more days leave. My two sisters
and I studied the Fa and sent forth righteous thoughts together with our mom.
This helped her to overcome the most difficult period of time in her
cultivation. Two days later, I brought my mom and elder sister back to my place. When I
went to work my sister would recite Lunyu and Hongyin with Mom.
However, her condition showed no sign of improvement. She had no strength at
all, her head was swollen and numb and she felt very uncomfortable in her heart.
Mom kept on sending forth righteous thoughts and pulled through several times.
One day when my younger sister read an article about the old forces from
Clearwisdom, and she phoned Mom. Mom sent forth powerful righteous thoughts to
negate all the arrangements by the old forces and vowed to cultivate Falun Dafa
through to the end. Since then, Mom's condition has improved and stabilized.
Though there were several relapses, they were all very mild. After Teacher
published his new article "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in
Philadelphia, USA," Mom has had a better understanding of the old forces. After the death of my father, Mom had originally planned to live with my
elder brother. Because my brother opposed her practice of Falun Dafa, he told
her to give up Falun Dafa if she wanted to live at his home. When Mom refused,
my brother kicked her out. My mother was forced to go back and live in her own
apartment. I went with my two sisters to talk to my brother to clarify the truth
to him. We only encountered his angry voice and harsh words towards Dafa. We
really felt very sad for him. In December, I invited Mom to live with me. Upon leaving, Mom still worried
about my brother, sister-in-law and their two children, so she went there and
tried to let them know the Fa. My brother viciously slandered Falun Dafa and Mom
left his home feeling very sad. Over the past three years, during every public holiday or Chinese Lunar New
Year the authorities would come to harass and persecute us. We did not have even
one peaceful New Year holiday in those three years. The year before last, my
father was forced to leave home on the eve of the Chinese New Year to avoid
being arrested. This year, my father was persecuted to death and the whole
family was in mourning. The suffering of our whole family for the past three
years has been the most telling witness of the persecution. Late one night a few days back, all of a sudden Mom had a very bad headache,
felt very uncomfortable in her heart and the skin problems on her leg had
worsened. When we finished sending forth righteous thought in the morning Mom
said, "Just now I clearly heard that it is not persecution this time; it's
a test and in February I will have an even bigger test which will be more
serious than this one. I was told that after that big test I would move into
Beyond-triple-world Fa." My elder sister, younger sister and I all saw
through the trap of the old forces and asked her, "What test is that? We
have moved out of the In-triple-world Fa a long time ago. This is the
arrangement of the old forces." After hearing that, Mom sat down instantly
and began to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. During the
process Mom came across very serious interference. However, she persisted in
getting rid of the interference and eliminated the old forces' arrangements. She
returned to normal very quickly. Teacher told Falun Dafa practitioners, "Except for newer students, from
July 20 of 1999 on, Master hasn't created any personal-cultivation type tests
for you, and that's because overall your personal cultivation has changed in the
direction of saving sentient beings and validating Dafa"

Fa Conference). Mom is now clearer and more rational in her cultivation of the Fa. Looking
back on Mom's cultivation path, every step forward she took was very difficult.
She relied on her righteous belief in Teacher and Falun Dafa. With Teacher
watching over her, Mom overcame the most difficult period of time in her
cultivation. * The "610 Office" is a bureau specifically created by the Chinese
government to persecute Falun Gong constantly persecuted him. It has absolute
power over each level of administration in the Party as well as over the
