Italy: Practitioners Clarify the Truth About the Persecution In the Vieira Provincial Government Building

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of April 11 2003, the "Spring Swallows Association" in Vieira invited several Falun Gong practitioners to introduce Falun Dafa in the meeting hall of the Vieira provincial government.

We started by introducing how we first learned about Falun Gong and began to practice. Next we outlined the persecution inflicted on Dafa practitioners in China and played a 14-minute video revealing further details. Upon watching the tape, the audience was extremely shocked. We told the audience that the persecuted practitioners in China use their actions to validate their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," regardless of the life-threatening danger that they are in. We are delighted to practice such a righteous practice, and are honored to introduce the stories of our fellow practitioners to the audience.

Upon learning that a lawsuit against Jiang and his accomplices for their crime of Genocide has been submitted to the International Criminal Court, the audience clapped their hands with excitement. Later, we demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and invited the audience to come to the local practice sites to learn the exercises. Some western practitioners who had only recently learned the exercises also took part in the exercise demonstration. After the introduction, the audience, though they are not Falun Gong practitioners, expressed a willingness to work with us to end this human tragedy and bring the dictator Jiang Zemin to justice.

There is one event that is worth mentioning here. We brought some printed photos to introduce Falun Dafa. At first, we planned to put them in some eye-catching outdoor places. But that evening the audience who attended the meeting took all of the photos. They said that they wanted to hang them in hospitals, schools, and some other public place for people to see, so that more Italian people can have a better understanding of Falun Gong.
