By a Dafa practitioner in China

Before, when I clarified the truth, my mentality was to treat it as everyday people's work. I delivered a lot of truth-clarifying materials, however, in those two years, almost nobody began to study Dafa because of these materials as far as I know.

In Touring North America to Teach the Fa, Teacher said,

"You've got to try hard, and you've got to do well, because what you want is to consummate everything, and you have responsibilities--you have come with the mission and responsibility of saving sentient beings."

Since then, I have changed my former mentality of truth-clarification and have gotten rid of my selfish understandings. Even if someone only has a tiny chance to start cultivation in Dafa, I do not give up on him or her. I had a thought from the bottom of my heart, wishing that those Gods who came to this human world would obtain Dafa as soon as possible. Every time when I went out, I would recite silently,

"Falun Dafa is good. The colossal firmament illuminated by the Fa's light. Only after the immense force of Fa-rectification sweeps through, Are the boundless wonders known." ("Dafa is Good")

Now quite often, it is others who come to me on their own initiative to learn the truth about Dafa. In the last few months, after clarifying the truth, over thirty people have started reading Zhuan Falun, and more than a dozen people have started practicing Dafa diligently. They have been clarifying the truth and saving people. Even others who haven't read the book know that Falun Dafa is good. I have clarified the truth to many people.

Teacher said,

"Every person you come into contact with in society is someone to clarify the truth to, and what's manifest in clarifying the truth is Dafa disciples' mercy and their salvation of the world's people." ("To All Students at the Nordic Fa Conference")

Below are a few incidents that occurred in my truth-clarification.

One day, a lady in her 50's from Shandong Province came to my house to beg. I said, "For the eternal well-being and happiness of you and your family members, please remember Falun Dafa is good and keep Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance deep in your mind, and tell your friends and relatives." I also handed her a Dafa truth-booklet. I felt that the side of her who was more aware had been touched. She said, "You have really saved my whole family." I helped her up and said, "It's Teacher who can save your family."

There was an older man who was recycling things from the trash. I told him about Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, that Falun Dafa is good, and the relationship of good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil. He said excitedly, "Even though you are so young, you really know a lot. Who taught you these things?" I said, "It is our Teacher who taught me." He said, "I am unable to read, but I believe in Teacher. Will Teacher look after me?" I said, "Teacher will look after all the kind people who want to cultivate." It was clear that his heart was moved upon hearing this.

Once I met a person, and I told him the facts about Falun Gong. However, he started cursing and said that the TV propaganda said Falun Gong practitioners kill people and set fires, and he said that he wouldn't believe me. I remembered that we should treat all beings with compassion and kindness, and patiently clarified the truth to him. In the end, he was a lot more receptive and even asked me for some materials to take with him.

Before I started practicing Falun Gong, I disagreed with my brother's engagement with his girlfriend and seldom went to visit them at holidays. In order to help them understand Dafa, I went to his home, but his mother-in-law didn't want me to stay with them. I thought about the well-being of his whole family and felt that even if they responded by beating me today, I should still tell them the facts about Falun Dafa. I read Teacher's articles to them and told them the facts about Dafa. They were touched by Teacher's compassion and said that we practitioners were good people. They asked me to stay for a few more days. I came to understand more about Teacher's words,

"Shan is the manifestation of the nature of the universe at different levels and in different dimensions. It is also the fundamental nature of Great Enlightened Beings." ("A Brief Explanation of Shan")

I think that we should not forget about those practitioners who have just found Dafa after giving them books. We should be responsible for them and fulfill our veteran practitioners' responsibility. Furthermore, practitioners who begin cultivation Dafa in this special period are facing interference and tests in many forms. We should help them to eliminate the interference. A new practitioner had the experience of his primordial spirit leaving the body. He was too terrified to sleep and stopped reading the book. It also made him resent Dafa and veteran practitioners. Later, veteran practitioners explained their understanding of the phenomena to him, and his mind was put at ease. I also tried to introduce them to the idea of clarifying the truth, which has had positive results. They used examples from their own experiences during this adverse period of time to help other people understand Dafa. It was like a chain reaction of people finding out the truth about Dafa. Some of their spouses have also begun to study the Fa.

All beings are waiting for the Fa. The old forces are weakening, and the people of the world are becoming more and more clear-headed. Teacher said,

"Certain cultivators who have grasped Dafa to different degrees are showing different degrees of steadfastness, and how they currently perceive the overall situation of the Fa-rectification is different, too. The different states of their cultivation result in their different perceptions. Some might think the situation is grim; for some people the situation might seem to have already eased up; and some people might think that it's precisely a great opportunity to save sentient beings and clarify the truth" ("Teaching the Fa at Washington, D.C.
